As I state below, I have had an implant (CX first, then LGX) for 14 years and we couldn't be happier. :D

LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

This is a great post.
Why?
Because it openly describes problems and imperfections. But also tells that those imperfections mean basically nothing in the light of the bigger picture: trading a limp dick and no sex or shitty sex for sex! That is a key take-home point.

And to answer the question myself:
I've had it for close to 14 months now. Except for a miserable first 2-3 weeks with bad pain, everything has been great. I am having the best sex of my life and I have not changed one tiny thing in my lifestyle and in my activities. I still wear the same clothes and do all the same high intensity sports.

This site is extremely helpful. Going bionic Feb 15th. Worried and excited at the same time. RP in 2014 and then radiation last summer that finally did me in. Using Quadmix currently but it is not giving me the stiff erections that I desire. Hope this will fix the problem. After RP, since I can not ejaculate any more I have found that in the old days once you cum your finished and done. Now, since I can't do that anymore I start off with the first climax and continue and each one after the first is more intense than the one before. I have gotten up to three and edging on the fourth but find myself exhausted and actually have to stop. More like a total body experience instead of just in my groin area. Anyone else experience the same thing after prostate removed or is it just me?

Rick, orgasm and ejaculation are different things. Now we guys without a prostate don't ejaculate, but we still have orgasms. (And most guys can remember a time when we didn't want to climax -- we were trying to hold back for some reason -- and out came the non-orgasm ejaculation anyway.) :o

Just at the 2 year mark. The first month or two my shaft was bit sore. Gradually got better and by 4 months all ok.I mistakenly thought after a couple of weeks I'd be all back to normal. Not a realistic expectation. I had no remarkable swelling or complications and do highly recommend DrEid even if you have to travel from out of state. I am happy with my outcome and have zero regets. Hoping for 10-15 years before a replacement which I would do in a heartbeat.

Archway,
I'm 117 days post op and everything is great. I'm hoping for 10 - 15 years too. My wife wants sex with my incredible dick everyday. Seriously. :o We'll see how well made this AMS 700 CX is. 8-) 8-)

I agree w/ Archway as to whether in fact 3-4 weeks before you're back in action is a realistic expectation. I came back after activation on 1/11/17 (procedure done 12/7/16) and tried it out w/ the wife...worked but actually too sore to really enjoy it. Waited until this weekend (almost 8 weeks) for Round 2 after I'd been learning to cycle/deflate to flaccid/inflate. Results? Absolutely spectacular...like we turned the bedroom clock back 30 years to when we were first dating & wearin' it out. Wife was amazed/loved the feel of the new bionic unit. Like many say here on Frank Talk: sorry I wasn't able to do this a couple of years ago (insurance wouldn't cover it until late 2013)...couldn't be happier w/the procedure/results...gonna be some good rockin' from now on...
