weight loss

Postby 6gun44mag » Fri Feb 17, 2017 11:30 pm

Got a question---has anyone experienced anything significant in getting erections after a good sized weight loss? I been carrying around excess weight a long time---maybe the weight was piling on about the time the hard-ons starting being non-existant, can't remember exactly. I've been losing weight steadily, which needed to happen, but just wondered if anyone did lose weight, and even if using Viagra or other drug--did the drug start working better when the weight was gone. Wishful thinking---I know.

It might be wishful thinking. On the other hand, body fat can absorb some medicines or slow the action of some. If you are Type 2 Diabetic and reduce your body fat, your blood sugar will be easier to control and that may help.

Only trying things out will tell you for sure.

Good Luck

Better health certainly can improve your sex life, but I have never heard of weight loss being a cure for ED. If that was the case there would be a waiting line at the gym!
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.

6gun..I have seen much improvement. I have just lost over 100pounds and I did it strictly by counting calories. I have alto of health issues and it seemed everything was getting worse so..I took it upon myself to diet and lose the weight. It was the best decision ever made. No more Bp mess...off my stations. I have low T brought in by using opiods for pain. I have an implanted pain infusion system. My pain level dropped. I have been able to cut back on my medicines for my back and pain. My T level has risen..and to answer your first to question...with pills my erection quality wee iffy..before the weight loss..now the first 3-4 days after my low t injection..I can perform without any help..strictly just me..as my level begins to decline. I may take 20-40mgs of viagra..nothing more and everything works as it should..so HECK YES..I SAW FANTASTIC improvement from losing the weight. I weighted 264 before my diet..now I weight between 157- 160...I am only 5'6 in height. BTW.my doctor sales generic viagra in 20mg pills..thatscwhere I get my pills from. I get 90 pills for 120$. That one bottle last me about a year. I hope this answers your question. Good luck with your diet

Seeking I do...ska Scott

Weight loss can indeed help with achieving erections / lessening ED symptoms. Body fat in males has the effect of raising Estrogen levels and lowering Testosterone in the bloodstream, throwing your maleness off balance. Will it be a cure-all? - Never. But it will help in many ways:

Higher T levels
Lower E levels
Less blood sugar issues = less neuropathy effects over time --- better sensatory nerves.
Better blood flow - easier to get an erection....

You get the idea. I lost 40 pounds and my T level increased 200 points.
