75ish hours post implant.....

Postby LMCatman » Sat Mar 04, 2017 3:49 pm

No real pain.... Took an extra Aleve this morning (take 'em daily for arthritis).....dick is pretty bruised and has a couple of stitches.... balls are pretty swollen and actually unbruised in at least a few places. Deflated dick keeps wanting to bend to the left. They all have since the first one. Been sitting in the living room playing my new guitar and singing..... And all in all feeling pretty good!

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro....just under the doctor's 10 pound lifting limit.... Almost bought the Gibson LP Standard on Black Friday for $1999 but hadn't studied prices and wasn't sure it was a good deal (it was).... This was $549 and AMEX points made it $301 delivered. And I'll ALWAYS remember where I was when I bought it.... and if I get the bug this coming Black Friday.... well... I've done my homework now.

The guitar: perfect out of the box.... Beautiful craftsmanship (from where they pay their craftsman less), tuned it, plugged it in.... Lovely. Amazing number of tone combinations. My "talent" is rather limited.. I've spent 50+ years playing chords and singing (howling). I usually play in my living room 3 or 4 times a week. I've got a little setup in the corner with a couple of amps, a couple of mics plugged into an old karaoke box, a Bluetooth PA speaker and a 20" tablet (the cheap Amazon one - it's dieing after 10 months). A lot of fun and, you don't have to be good to have fun. I've also got an old keyboard with the note letters on the keys and a 3/4 size Fender bass the the letters of the "top" (lowest) notes on the side of the neck. My granddaughter will play the bass, grandson the keyboard and we make some noise!!!!

Playing with my Titan is not my only hobby..... but it is the most expensive!!!!

BTW.... 96ish hours after implant... no pain other than a "dull ache" in my dick. No pain medication yesterday other than Aleve. Gonna drive over to my shop today and wade into paperwork. Back to see Dr Perito tomorrow....

When I was a kid my brother got a new Gibson Les Paul 25th anniversary edition. Deep red with gold pick-ups. That thing was stunning. I still have people here in the music industry ask me when they see me if he still has that guitar and if he would sell it. ( He sold it to pay the bills of one of his many crappy wives years ago). Awesome beautiful instrument. Cheers. Heal well.

so great that you are healing well. I heard Perito once state that replacements of implant are easier than the original --- I am not sure if that is indeed the case.

I also played in Bands when I was a kid where Les Paul guitars were favored.

QUESTION: "Why did your implant fail at the two year point ?"

(63 yo, Titan 22cm implant Feb 2017 by Dr Eid) I'm super pleased with my length/girth/implant performance. See my story at "The road to becoming a bionic male: Answers ..."
