I will be scheduling a revision in 8-weeks. First surgery was January of this year and was a complete blotch, short cylinders, loss length and floppy head. I have spoken with Dr. Kramer and feel confident that he can improve my results to what I originally expected. Question for those of you who've had revisions, was the healing time, less, more, or about the same?

Re: Advise on Revise
My original and revision were 13 months apart, the revision was very easy compared to the original, very little swelling, very little bruising. I only took 1 pain pill the day after and was able to go shopping on the city bus on Friday, able to fly home on Saturday 5 - 6 hrs in plane and 7 hrs layovers , did all without any issues. Was able to start cycling between 2 and 3 weeks , sex in 2 -3 weeks. It will be 3 mo in another week and I am still cycling once a day to max for 30 min but feel as though it is healed completely. My revision was because of a botched original job, implant was too short, unsupported glans and poorly placed tips. Dr Kramer replaced the implant with one almost 2" longer than the original. It is much better now and I am much more satisfied. Dr. Kramer said what he could do and he delivered.

AWESOME!
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
Re: Advise on Revise
For me, healing time was the same. A lot less pain though.

Mr. Sam, surname Am , I am near your age, only been 59 3 months. Getting a revision by Kramer Wednesday morning. I will try to make note to you of my progress. Nearly all who went to Eid, Perito, Karman, or Kramer tell me it was much much easier than the first implant. These boys have a system. I asked about things I saw in Kramer's videos and I like what I saw. I see nothing but better outcomes from his modified way of doing things that certainly cannot hurt but have a great potential upside. d

I've been out of town all week and just viewed your video, excellent results. I'm so happy for you, as I know the feeling of disappointment from a blotched procedure and a clueless MD who thinks it is fine. Please update me on the heal time. I sent Connie and email and hopeful to move my surgery date up, mine isn't improving and frankly, I'm sick of even pumping it up.

Re: Advise on Revise
Great, just watched video and Dr. Kramer did a very nice revision it appears. I pass his name to all my friends who need help and so far one has seen him for his surgery Jan 22, and all went well. Know two more guys who I hope will see him and recover that mental boost you get from knowing you can have erection. Good luck with everything.
Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.
Re: Advise on Revise
I was wondering exactly the same thing as I've got a scheduled revision op next month.
I was told it'll be as painful as the first one by the dr but from what I've read it's easier?
Also,I've heard there's more chance of infection the second time around. Is this true? Did anyone get given antibiotics the week leading up to the revision? I haven't been told to do this so a bit worried about this too.

Diagnosed prostate cancer at 46yrs old. Radical prostatectomy - had Coloplast Titan Zero implanted due to nerve damage. Had revision done 07/04/17 due to tips not being inside the glans. Now tips are in place in the glans and hope they stay put!
Re: Advise on Revise
I just arrived home from a revision by Doctor Kramer Wednesday. Much more pleasant than the first one. Just took my first pain med just to dull the ache a little after 10 hours travel which has left me a little sore. Infection wise, I had 3 bottles of antibiotics prior to the first implant. None before this revision but I have no idea what was given in surgery. Just amoxcillan afterward. I do know though, that Dr. Kramer does some things to prevent infection that no other doctor I am aware of does. I would not be concerned. I have had MANY people contact me about this revision and Dr. Kramer and not heard an infection complaint. Good luck with the repair job. You have chosen a nice doctor and a nice place to get it done. Cheers. No worries.

Re: Advise on Revise
I emailed Dr. Kramer tonight and he responded within 10-minutes. Not the usual experience when dealing with someone of his talent. He is willing to work me in as my schedule permits, I can't say enough about his work ethic. I'm worried it won't go well based on the surgery I had in January this year, but I know that Dr, Kramer will give me his best, and nothing less. The last doctor said all the right things until he finished the surgery, truly sad that the results some of these doctors have in their body of work.I will continue to post as my desire for normalcy continues, I cannot wait to get this dreadful result fixed, and by the doctor many on here consider to be the gold standard, me included.
