I've read about people that threatened to take pliers to there pumps and were talked out of it. But I actually did exactly that.
I got so frustrated with trying to pump up, after days of trying, that I took some slip-pliars, wrapped cloth around the teeth and carefully squeezed the pump.
Worked fine.
I'm thinking about doing it again since last night I extended the length of my penis by 1/4". I really squeezed hard, and it just extended. Don't ask me why, but I'll bet if I can squeeze even harder, I may get back to my original length.

Re: Soft Jaws
I don't know if my situation is common, but the skin of my scrotum bleeds very easily. I'm certain that I would break the skin using a pliars and have blood everywhere.
Re: Soft Jaws
If pliers can do that.....just think what a drill press vice will do......

Re: Soft Jaws
Believe me, I thought about every other option before using the pliers. I couldn't think of any others.
Plumbers use "soft jaw" pliers to install chrome plated faucets. Like a lot of things, those pliers don't do as well as the old-fashioned way of wrapping cloth around the jaws.

Hi,
Vey999, what type of implant do you have? Lgx or Titan?

When I first read the title of this rpthread, I thiught it was about fellatio.
Using shop tools seems risky to me, but I am sure you are being careful. More power to you.
I read that one member of Franktalk used a kitchen spoon to back up his hand. It made compressing the pump bulb and keeping it in place easier, I guess. If you molded soft, smooth jaws to slip onto the pliers and those jaws were concave, that might be even better, you think?
From one inventor to another, I wish you good luck.

P.S. I just had a sudden thought, What about castanets? Smooth, cupped, easily grasped. Perhaps a (modified) garlic press or walnut cracker could be added to the mix?

Re: Soft Jaws
vey999, I have to think that the pliers are risky. When my Titan was new, I thought I'd need a pliers, too. What I did was put the left thumb and the knuckle of the forefinger squarely on the bulb, then put the right thumb on top of the other thumb, and the other forefinger under the left forefinger. Then I just squeezed as hard as I possibly could. After a few tries it started to loosen up, and became softer each time.
I actually drove an hour to the hospital where I had the surgery to have the nurse show me. She did it with ease. Strong woman.

Re: Soft Jaws
yes, originally, i used the "two hand technique" to squeexe the titan bulb. Now things are getting looser, though, I did talk to someone on the phone who still, even to this day, uses two hands (maybe a year old implant)
