I just heard from Dr. Kramer. He said that he has seen this 100's of times. I bruise very easily, and I simply started a week too early for my body type. High pain tolerance and easy bruising. Not a good combination lol. He say rest it for a week then start is over again

Good to have an answer, and something that can provide you a course of action.

I was just thinking about your situation, and it came to my mind because that is what I have exclusively used for pain/swelling: ibuprofen. If you are prone to bruising, like my wife does, try to avoid it during this recovery week.

She uses this cream (DerMend) that contains Arnica. It used to be available only on a prescription ointment in the past under a different name. You can find it at Walgreens or CVS. I can attest that it does work by reducing the bruises healing time dramatically. However, you need to make sure it is not applied to any open skin area or incision.

Thanks Plumber, The swelling has gone down a lot already. and yes I have been on a lot of ibuprofen that thins the blood. No more now until a week has passed.

Day 16:

I woke this morning to find my hematoma basically gone. All swelling is over,and what remains is just bruising.

Dr. Kramer called me last night. He was on a flight when I called him yesterday, but called me as soon as he landed. He said that likely one tiny capillary had leaked causing this new hematoma. It happens. I bruise easily, and I likey was trying too much too soon He says that i am still pumped up enough and to leave it alone and rest it for two weeks, then I am going back to Baltimore and have him activate it. I will fly out in the morning and right back same day. He is not at all concerned about any scarring build up in that time frame.

Day 17:

Not much to report today. the swelling from the hematoma is nearly gone but it will take days for the bruising to go. No worries no pain. I just tried to activate too early. I made a reservation to Baltimore this morning for Thursday the 20th. Dr. Kramer will activate me then. In the meantime I am going to try to leave it alone lol.

Day 18:

Same as yesterday. A little better everyday. I'm going to go nuts waiting for activation

My wife said that having the implant in but having to wait is like having a new Ferrari in the garage and you can't drive it till a certain date. Can drive you crazy! (But sure worth the wait!)

You got that right David_R. At 90 my body might be slowing down but my dick never will. I love my implant! So does the missus.
