VED was one of my best decisions but I didn't start six weeks before the operation rather some years before I got the implant. Without VED I would have lost a lot of length. If a doctor speeks against the use of a vacuum pump then he doesn't know what he is talking about. Some doctors have no clue whatsoever.

Can some of you guys share your protocol with VED?
I bought an Augusta Medical VED about a year ago in order to help treat corporal fibrosis. There is a strict protocol listed on the peyronie's forum website (although I dont have true peyronie's) that I attempted to follow. It starts extremely light, not allowing you to inflate past 25% of an erection for the first few weeks. However, each time I tried to do this, I would get really uncomfortable stinging pain in my penis. I wouldnt say it was at the point of unbearable or truly painful, but instinct told me not to keep doing it.
I would, however, like to give it another shot. There seems to be good anecdotal evidence backed with research that supports its potential benefits.
Any tips, advice, tricks? Did you guys start super light? How long before you pumped to a full erection?
Thanks

Cnidium I think I can be some help to you. I've experienced corporal fibrosis for the past year like you and I've noticed my erections vary in pain from 0% to 100% that can be 0 when flaccid and 100 erect or 100 when flaccid and 0 erect. It's a big mystery. I think the pelvic floor muscles play a major role in this. If you experience this we can help each other out. I'm going to do VED before surgery given Dr Brock gives me his blessing.

I started out pumping while I was on the Peyronies Site and I followed the protocol. I started out light and got up to 7 or 8 hg without much pain but I didn't hold on that long. I should have started using the VED as soon as I was diagnosed with peyrones. It is very crucial to start early. I did tell DR Eid that I was using the Augusta Medical but you can use any kind and it is a good idea to have a gauge on the pump so you know how much pressure you have there.
Dr. Eid said that it was okay to use the VED after the implant, but make certain that I pumped the implant up first....That was to keep the blood flow into the shaft and the glans.
Hope your outcomes are great!

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.

Click on the link and you'll find lots of good informations.
Extremely important:
Before you start the exercise, warm your dick up, either wrap a hot facecloth around it or even better, use an infrared light. Do it for 10 minutes, only then start using the pump.

Vacuum pumps are fantastic, not for sex (at least not in my case) but for exercising the dick. Mine was even paid by medical aid!

Guys ... forget the facecloth and such and use a "rice sock" ... it's cheap and extremely effective. Take an old sock fill it 2/3's with rice ... tie the end off. Now when getting ready for a pump session ... put the sock in the microwave for say 60 sec. (adjust time as needed) and test.
You can repeat as needed ... but it stays hot for a long time. Another trick is to wrap a heating pad around the VED tube ...
