Hi,
I am 33 years old. My first marriage pretty much failed because of ED.
It's been weighing down on me very much.
I went to Tom Lue and he said to hold on doing an implant since something could come out in the near future such as stem cells. Well, it's been 4 years since then and nothing came out.
I have some questions. Advice and guidance from you is greatly going to help me. I know I can ask doctors, but they are salesmen after all.
I live very far from the states and I am not sure which doctor to choose. I don't want to do it with less experienced ones and regret my decision.
Money should not be an issue. If the best is in the States, I will fly to him.
I see the sanctification rates being high for those 50+ years old. How about the ones less than 40 or 35?
If I go for it, will I have to change anything in my life style? Sports? Clothing?
Can I hide it from my partner? Will the implant impact the size?
If the surgery is successful, how often will I have to replace the implant? Also, will the second or third one be as effective as the first one? Won't too much surgery down there have any impact?
Thank you so much

Maybe I'm ignorant, but I never heard of Tom Lue, so can't help you there.
As to research, sure it goes on, and quite actively. ED affects many millions of men, and the person who figures out how to cure it will be a billionaire in no time. You've waited four years. How many more years are you prepared to lose? In my opinion, the cure will first come as serial improvements to implants.
A woman who is in intimate contact with you will spot the implant as soon as she gets touchy with your genitalia, but if she's a lady with any character she won't mind one bit that you have taken steps to continue your sex life. Don't forget, if she's a normal woman she likes sex as much as you do.
Yes, you can feel it, but it should not cause any discomfort. Yes, there can be situations in which it might be noticed. That would be mainly because of the increase in flaccid length. Anyone who sees you naked might be impressed with your endowment, but they will never know from seeing it that it isn't all you.
At your age, it seems to me your life is probably less than half over. You might go through three or four implants before you die, but the surgeons can do that. There is nothing about this surgery that should prevent future revisions.
I'm an old man, but whatever age you are I had to go through that age to get where I am. I suggest you come to the States and see either Dr. Eid in New York or Dr. Kramer in Baltimore. Mine was done by Dr. Caesar in Cape Coral, FL and I am very happy to recommend him, but the other two are famous.

I saw Dr Lue as well. He tries all other treatments before considering an implant. He told me implants are great but they break. Which is true. You'll definitely need a few revisions in your lifetime. I was implanted at age 35 by Dr Karpman. I'm happy. Top four surgeons to me are Eid, Karpman, Perito and Kramer. Karpman offers a free phone consultation. If money is no object, I would suggest Dr Eid.
Re: Implant for those under 35 years old. Your advice is appreciated.
They do break...I'm on my third implant...one botched by (my poor choice of) surgeon, second wonderfully revised by Dr Paul Perito in Miami, third revised by Dr Perito March first of this year........IT IS STILL WORTH IT!!!!!!
When my second implant "went flat" in mid-February I WAS DEPRESSED.....for about half a day. A call to Dr Perito and a quick appointment and surgery cheered me up big time!!
I was 59 before my "fucking life was over". Soft dick blow jobs are ok. An "on demand" hard dick is wonderful!!!!
No matter your age...if you want to fuck but can't, get the implant. The importance of being able to fuck overshadows loss of size and likelihood of needing replacement. The feeling you get that first time you put your hard dick into a soft wet pussy makes it all worthwhile!!!
Good luck!!

Dr Lue is an excellent doctor/surgeon and is best known for his work with Peyronies/ED. He did my implant and I couldn't be happier. I was raring to go in three weeks, lost no size and had little to no pain.
You wont be disappointed with him.

Re: Implant for those under 35 years old. Your advice is appreciated.
Implants as we know them now have been around since the 1970's with no major breakthroughs. You could wait for some major medical alternative, but it might never happen, and for several reasons. One is that there just isn't the demand for devices, surgical methods, or drugs to treat really severe ED, beyond what is available now. There's just not enough guys clamoring for it. If the breakthrough allowed for a significant size increase, though, there would be a lot of demand.
There's plenty of demand for improvements in breast implants because there's demand.
There's also the factor of the FDA. If there's a new device, drug, or method of treatment, it could take years and years to get approved. I don't know if there's a minimum time for approval, but it's long.
If Viagra or Cialis don't work, and you've tried injections without success, go for the transplant. You're in your prime years for having sex. Don't waste them, as you never get the time back.

Did Dr Lue have you try injections? I can tell you they are painless.

Well, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever said. I mean there's a market for improvements in breast implants because there's more demand than for them than for penile implants.
As for injections, I'll just throw out my usual warning I give when people are discussing them. They can cause scarring, which can cause Peyronies and/or loss of length. Not saying they always do, but they can, and I learned the hard way.

Here are my answers:
QUESTION: "hold on doing an implant since something could come out in the near future" ANSWER: the 'something' might not be as effective as an implant. You are in the prime sex years of your life, so these years without sex, waiting for something that might not materialize, represents a loss that you can never get back. Remember, life is short, and you only live once.
QUESTION: "If the best is in the States, I will fly to him." ANSWER: I know that Dr Eid has a cash price plan which is often used for patients flying in from overseas; also, New York City is convenient (many flights) to get to.
QUESTION: I see the satisfaction rates being high for those 50+ years old. How about the ones less than 40 or 35? ANSWER: almost every man with an implant states that they wished they had done it sooner. I am 51 years old. My wife told me the other day that I should have done this in my thirties (rather than limp along with non-spontaneity of injections and pills)...that was a painful revelation to hear.
QEUSTION: change anything in my life style? Sports? Clothing? ANSWER: for me, no change in clothing or sports. I am 2 months after surgery, I am not sure that lots of bicycle riding will work, but I have heard that bicycle riding is ok if you get that seat with the opening in the middle.
QUESTION: Can I hide it from my partner? ANSWER: in one study (in the mid east) 18 % of men did not tell their partner. If your partner vigorously plays with your balls, then they will feel the little pump (COLOPLAST pump more difficult to detect than the AMS pump). For one night stands, you likely will be able to avoid having the pump detected. To a women, Implanted penis feels pretty much like regular penis (but it can be harder and will last forever in sex).
QUESTION: Will the implant impact the size? ANSWER: if you go to a top surgeon, your size should be similar, or maybe slightly shorter. Having a disk that works 100% of the time, and knowing that you can walk into the bedroom with a woman with the confidence that "you can totally be the boss of what happens" is life changing
for your confidence, identity, and life outlook. The possible (might not necessarily happen) loss of a half inch is not a problem compared to the benefits of restored sex capability.
QUESTION: how often will I have to replace the implant? ANSWER: every ten to fifteen years
QUESTION:will the second or third one be as effective as the first one? ANSWER: yes, just as effective, and maybe bigger. Also, in thirty years, maybe it will be controlled by your smart phone and have built in vibrator !$&%^$*(#
QUESTION: Won't too much surgery down there have any impact? ANSWER: the alternative of suffering from ED for twenty or thirty years is too cruel to subject a man to. The implant will "free you of the burden" of performance anxiety , feelings of inadequacy, and manhood identity degradation which are part and parcel of ED.
Added QUESTION (by me): What is it like for a woman to have sex with an implant guy ? ANSWER:
There is a wonderful article in men's health magazine about sex with a 39 year ole guy written by a woman. here is the link:
http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/penile-implant
FINALLY: Also, there is a good video, "colins story" at the coloplast site which tells the story of a young (in his twenties) hockey player who has an implant and is thrilled. The video is located at:
http://www.coloplastmenshealth.com/patient-story/colins-story/
Do realize, that compared to Colin, you are old, and, mate, sorry to say, you are not going to get any younger !
Hope this helps you .... TANGERINE
