Scrotal swelling

I had an implant installed 4 days ago. My scrotum is swollen as tight As seems possible. I started taking ibuprophen yesterday. Has anyone else had this issue

Scrotal swelling is very common, especially this early on. Ice and some good scortal support will help as should the ibuprofen. Staying well hydrated with water will also be a benefit. Congradulations on the implant and welcome to the Brotherhood.

I had infra pubic and my balls still looked like black and blue oranges. My balls were huge for about a week but little pain. They were very heavy though and sleeping was challenging. Ice helped a lot to bring them down. No underwear as I was off 3 weeks. A lot of sitting. Very little standing. 'Hang' in there. .You'll be fine.

Has anyone found iceing after 5 days to be helpful ?

You are only 4days? There is a lot more to come. Be patient it takes a long time to recover. Icing worked for me for a while. 8 weeks going on 9 and still not there yet. Gets better each day.

Icing after 2-3 days offers comfort, but minimum effect on swelling. But let me clarify my statement. You will see, more pronounced at the scrotal area, that it helps shrink it since that is one of its functions: protect testicles and provide optimum temperature for spermatozoa generation and survival. But in the sense of helping the underlying cause of swelling, which is the body process of inflammation, its effect is minimal.

What one needs to be careful is to limit its use since two things can happen: frostbite and slow down healing and revascularization. The cells and tissues need to be at certain temperature to regenerate and multiply. By depriving them to reach certain temperature, we slow down the overall healing process.

I'm on day 10 and still icing, it is a comfort thing. Without ice I have pain, no swelling anymore.

Ice just numbs for me but helps tons.

Looking for advice on several items. My swollen scrotum. Isn't getting better. Should I wear anything when settled in my recliner or have the boys rest nude? Should I always have me jock support on ? Should I walk Round to increase circulation to my scrotal area. Any other advice would b greatly appre iated

Stay down on your back as much as possible. Avoid any exercise until the swelling goes down. It just takes time.
