As a guy who never had erection problems in my entire life until I had pelvic surgery two years ago I have to say this implant is a damn close second. Would I like my natural dick back? Sure but I ain't complaining about what I have now.

I really feel for you guys who've struggled for years. I had never had to use viagra, had no clue about shots or what VED meant or heard of an implant. I feel blessed that I had my natural dick as long as I did. Now I'm grateful these implants exist and that there are doctors like Eid and Kramer out there.

I do like that fact that I can fuck for as long as I want.

Hi again to all. I truly feel for you all with E/D. But again there are other things in some ways are worse. I fractured my dick and it ended up wit a 90 degree bend straight up. Now many on here believe if your dick gets hard it's a perfectly good dick. Now hold your dick and bend the first two inches straight up at close to a 90 degree angle. Now try to have sex without it bending back on itself and causing pain way above a 10 on the scale. Now your left with a dick that gets hard but you can't really use it. Sound familiar having a dick you can't use it. Because of where the bend was it was intermingled with the nerves and no one I talked to would operate on it. There were several options put on the table and the implant to help with the bend was the best choice. It took a year and a half to get everything squared away and the insurance paid for it. I know there are several people on here that believe the implant is for people with E/D only and no one else. But sorry to say that's not true. They use them for molding more than you would think. Given the same choice again I would do it in a heart beat. I have only had my implant for three and a half years and to me and the wife it is now as natural as it gets. The implant is truly a life changing marvel.

CTR500,

Just wondering, after you have ejaculated, despite the increased sensitivity in the glans, can you keep going or does the sensitivity prevent you?

Thanks for asking Cnidium... (and for actually reading my response and being so polite now! I wish the rest on this site could be as well-intentioned as you are!)

The sensitivity I feel after ejaculating is pretty much exactly as it had been most of my life. I guess I COULD keep going after cumming and just "plunge through" that intense sensitivity. It probably wouldn't last as long as it seems at that moment. (There were rare times my ex-wife may have playfully "teased" me through that post-ejaculation sensitivity. But it wouldn't be my first choice!) There are/were also times after cumming that I just say/beg "don't move!! Not yet!!" and the sensitivity subsides to let me go another round.

Again, thanks for being a gentleman Cnidium!

CTR500,

Lol man I am no gentleman. My intentions are truly selfish. Having been out of the game for so long I want to make sure I can give it to the girl the right way, but my endurance is probably crap after 4 years of nothing. Having females flirt with me constantly and not being able to follow through with it is frustrating af, so when I finally get an implant I want to make sure I can preform as I should. That way she can tell her friends, and that is in my favor. These are these things that matter to a 26 year old.

But thank you for being open about it. Every bit of information that you and the other guys put out there helps people like me come to a confident decision concerning the surgeon, the implant model, and when to get an implant.

And for some reason trying to plow through the post-ejaculatory phase sounds fun.

Also for you guys worrying about some girl's thoughts on your mechanical dick, IMO what matters the most is your confidence around it. If she knows you have an implant, and you act like a b*tch, she probably wont think of you like you want her too. But, if you act indifferent, carefree, confident, or a like a boss, I'm willing to bet she will be down with it.

This is how I plan to act, and the last thing I am worrying about is what she thinks if I have mech dick.

[quote="Put another way, from the woman's perspective,

Which is preferable? Your man's penis or a dildo covered in your man's skin?

If your man can give you great sex as he is, how do you feel about having a man with a dildo installed?[/quote]

Funny that is exactly how my wife viewed it at first. We have not had sex enough yet for me to ask her again. Not to upset anyone again. But when you take emotion out of the equation an implant is a mechanical device covered in our skin. A dildo is a mechanical device. The differance is we can show emotion and feeling.

Hearing aids ,eye glasses , artificial joints, false teeth , mechanical arms and legs, glass eyes, wigs all devises made to make life better for individuals with physical limitations but none carry the stigma of the penile implant. That is pure sexism.

I'm not really aware of a stigma. It has to do with genitals and inferred sex acts, which in this society are generally viewed as matters to be kept personal or private but other than that I know of no stigma. Perhaps stigma is confused with a persons self adopted sense of embarrassment having matters usually kept private being unavoidably made more public. I've gotten over having people, including pretty young medical assistants, look at my dick. If they work in the medical profession they should or better get used to looking at old guys dicks. I don't want an implant and hope to avoid it but if I get one I'll be proud of it. I'm just afraid I be like one of the bros from the hood and I'll be fondling it in public all of the time. Maybe I'll learn to rap.

Pure or not, there are (in my opinion) two sources of sexism.

1) Society/Nurture is indeed cruel to the impotent man in his self image and public mage.

Witness what one comedian says..

The man gets the blame for every failed sexual encounter. She says, "He couldn't get it up" and even if he can and she does not respond, she says, "He coulldn't even make me wer",

2) BiologyNature is also cruel to women in different ways. Perhaps more subtle.

Anorgasmia is much more prevaleny among women than men. While treatment for vaginal dryness is easier for women to treat than ED for men, there is no treatment (or discussion) of clitoral ED. Which brings me to the third sexism category

3) Medical science pays a lot more attention to mens's secual capacity and pleasure than to women's

There is plenty of cruelty all around, eo I do no not argue against your point of view, i do argue that there are multiple viewpoints.
