Dr. Andrew Kramer Appreciation

Postby IJN1324 » Sat May 06, 2017 11:08 am

i think it is important to show our appreciation, love and support for our doctors such as Kramer, who go out of their way to give us our lives back and who take the time to advise, counsel and help us through one of the biggest health decisions most of us will ever make.

for one have reached out to Kramer letting him know how much he is appreciated.

We as a community (and yes we are a family) cannot let few bad apples drive our great doctor into silence. Part of the reason Kramer is so greatly appreciated is the fact that he is so responsive to questions and concerns and he always does so in a jovial convivial manner, we could not be luckier.

So for those of you who think Kramer is doing a great job, let him know, how he has impacted you personally and let him know he is appreciated.

Growing up, i remember the saying that 'you never miss the water until the well runs dry". Let's ensure this guy is around for a long long time, doing his thing to help the brothers

Kudos to great Dr.Kramer, had bad surgery 6/2016 doc did a revised on me, very nice and professional, accurate on the pain level as how long it should be, highly recommend him to anyone, I reside in fla so yes it's worth going to Baltimore MD. For his expertise and caring.
My advice to anyone is to do homework, go that extra mile to read up on ur Dr. Find out how many cases he do, don't take word, at the time I even mention to my Dr. about Kramer and his word was " he shouldn't have to brag about his work" well later on I found out he was full of sh%t, he doesn't do the volume of surgeries a experience Doctors like Kramer does, and trust me Kramer in my words is not bragging actually he's teaching us what we should expect from this surgery, I found out the first surgery the Dr. put both cylinders on one side of the shaft," yeah ouch " if it wasn't for watching Kramer videos I would have excepted that's how it suppowed to be.
So once again do ur homework. Ask questions don't take any doctors word for granted. Do a proper research about his experience and credentials, it's public information.

I wrote a long reply for this thread and somehow lost it. I had a revision 12/2017 by Dr Kramer to fix a screwed up implant job. He correctly re-positioned the tips and I left with a 2" longer implant than I came in with. Dr Kramer is a real gentleman who is the most caring and compassionate doctor that I have met.
1- I do not understand how Dr Kramer has the time and energy to give the personal care that he gives to his patients and still have the time for his other patients, training new doctors, continuing education and time with his family.
2- I have personally thanked him a couple of times since he did my revision, but I do not feel that once my surgery was done and I was healing that I was his most important patient, nor deserved his attention to answer my every question. the new patient on the table should be the one getting his attention.
Just my opinion

William,

I do agree with most of your points, except regarding to the follow up. Until a patient is not fully healed and initiate the cycling process, any surgeon, not just him, is still in charge and responsible for the final results. This does not apply only to penile implants, but to any procedure.

There are many people here that have discover issues or just have legitimate questions about the implant after cycling, that the surgeon should be somehow available to address them. Otherwise, it is just a "puppy-mill". I do not want to be in that category.
