That good news, right?

That's why I put it that he has had implants since 1980. because I imagine that the implants have evolved something even minimally

JayGould,

Even if there is a complication in one of your revisions, then what? Are you going to not get an implant and be sexually inactive because you might get a complication in a future revision?

And if you read the scientific literature about the statistical probability of a implant complication, you will find that the VAST majority of those who suffer from one either smoke, are obese, have diabetes, are old in age, and more often than not have a combination of conditions I just mentioned. !!!! OR they didnt go to a top surgeon like Kramer or Eid !!!! I am willing to bet you can keep your chance of complications very low, in spite of numerous revisions, IF you dont smoke, dont get fat, don't develop diabetes, and be smart about who you let operate on you. And this basically means do you have the discipline to maintain a healthy lifestyle the rest of your life? Now, this doesnt make you immune to complications, but it should make you confident you can do something to avoid it.

If I get a complication from a future revision, then more than likely I can get it fixed. We have seen this plenty of times on this forum, IE alibaba, who had terrible first rounds, and then had great outcomes when Kramer revised their implant. A complication is not a end all, but a major head ache. And I am willing to take the risk of a complication to have my sex life back instead of forgoing my young sex life in order to avoid a complication.

I know its a hard thing to wrap your head around... getting an implant and all. But, if you have exhausted all other means, then the fears of potential, most likely improbable, complications are only going to make you lose more time in your life. And for me, I know have exhausted my other options. I have tried viagra/cialis, VED, stem cell therapy (did absolutely nothing), Class IV infrared laser therapy, and a whole host of alternative shit. I also have an MRI that clearly shows corporal cavernosum scarring in my left corporal body. The only known solution at this time for my condition is a penile implant, but I can feel confident that I tried all other means ( I didnt try injections because of the known risk of increased scarring). So, if you are like me, and you have no other option as of right now, then its time to overcome the fears and dedicate energy to finding who will give you your best possible outcome, which IMO is Kramer or Eid.

And if it makes you feel better, I am funding this 100% on my own. My garbage insurance doesn't cover a cent of it. And at 26 I have acquired the ~$25000 to get this done, and I am absolutely sure of myself that I am doing the right thing, despite putting such (relatively) large amounts of resources on the line.

I agree with you completely, especially if you have very low functionality as it is. In my case I can still get erect, it's just that I have to manually stimulate it quite a bit. I have also lost size (both girth and length) and have a curvature of about 30-40 degrees. But if complications arise from the implant I may be left where I am currently, or not too far off. If I lose 1/2 inch in length and 1/2 in girth, I'm no better off with the implant than without it (except easier to get erect). It has to completely get me back to my regular size and remove the curve to be worth it for me. Then of course, I don't even know if the implant will help my symptoms. Hope to be able to find that out soon.

So my questions are:

1.QUESTION: Am I crazy at this age for considering an implant? ANSWER: It would be a crime to fail to rescue a man in his late twenties and thirties by providing the chance to have vigorous frequent spontaneous sex.

2. QUESTION: I have heard different answers on whether scarring from injections can potentially complicate an implant - anyone have good information on this? ANSWER: not sure, I did injections for 8 years, they worked great, but then stopped. I heard that the papaverine in trimix is what can cause the scarring. The scarring can be seen on a penile ultrasound, so you might see an implant surgeon now, and then monitor the scarring ?

3. QUESTION: girth is an issue….some people talk about most of their girth loss coming from the lack of engorgement of their corpus spongiosum (the underside of the penis). My penis has always been pretty oval shaped, with most of the girth caused by the corpus cavernosa, and not too much coming from the spongiosum. ….thoughts about this distinction? ANSWER: if girth means a lot to you, then consider an implant which will be “tunica limited” and not “mesh limited”. This is exactly why I went for Titan.

4. QUESTION: I am obviously scared at 26 of intensive surgery on my manhood ANSWER: yes, it takes great courage to face surgery at your age. Go with Eid or Kramer, they understand the younger implant patient

5. QUESTION: “It has to completely get me back to my regular size and remove the curve to be worth it for me.” ANSWER: To set expectations, you must realize that there is a good chance you will lose half an inch (not the case for me, but does happen), also the spongiosum (underside of penis and head) will NOT be better at engorgement. That being said, I am proud of my awesome hard as rock rigid glorious erection thanks to the cylinders in my cavernosum.

JayGould,

From my understanding, an implant can restore lost girth as long as there isnt excessive scarring the surgeon has to cut through. For example, I have some corporal scarring on my left side. It causes a minor dent when erect, which does slightly affect my girth, but only marginally. I would expect that after the surgeon performs the dilation of the corporal bodies, that the scarring in the cavernosum will no longer be a limiting factor, and that the implant (especially the titan) will expand to my tunica limit... which is a man's max.

Kramer explained to me that he is absolutely capable of dilating through any scar tissue, and that the scarring that I have in my corporal body will not hinder or affect the implant in any way. He didnt say whether or not my girth would be restored (again I didnt really lose any), but to be fair I didnt ask if it would either. But logically, if my scarring wont affect the Titan, and the Titan expands to fit my tunica, then therefore there should be no girth loss.

Read some of Merrix posts. He had a Titan implanted by Eid and actually had a slight girth increase after he completely healed. In fact, I cant think of a single Titan implantee from either Eid or Kramer that isn't happy with the dimensions they kept after the surgery (not to say such people don't exist). I have also read that Titan's have been implicated in fixing curves caused from peyronies.

Cnidium,

Yeah I think it's fine if the scarring is in the cavernosum, and not in the tunica. Most people who suffer from Peyronie's usually have scarring in their tunica, and that makes things more difficult. From what I gather the cylinders will replace your corpus cavernosums anyway. So you should absolutely be fine. As for my own case I gotta figure out where my scarring/constriction is located. But I don't think it's in the tunica either.

By the way, did you ever have an ultrasound that never detected the scar tissue? I've had two ultrasounds that came out "OK". Just had an MRI, waiting for results as we speak.

hi there im 22 years old and I want a implant too.

Iv been dealing ED since i was 16 . I tried viagra and cialis and other supplement but its never guarantee and has a lot of secondary effect that I dont like. I even try : http://sex4life.revitamedical.ca/?gclid ... wAodsvcDCg
it helps a little bit.

I consider my self a good looking men , women are always attract to me but I just dont want to talk or make effort anymore because i kknow i cant probable fuck them. In my life I had so many opportunity with 10/10 girls and i couldn't maintain my erection its got me frustrating a lot. I never use a condom in my life because i couldnt stay hard long enough for that.
I live by my self in a beautiful condo , I travel at least 4 time a year ,i make money but my sex life always been up and down since i was 16.
Right now I feel like the implant is the only option left to make my life happy and I live in canada and I would go with kramer or eid and pay in cash.

JayGould,

Unfortunately I never had a ultrasound done because I live in Cincinnati atm. And cincinnati is known for being years behind in everything because its very conservative. So there are zero places that offer a duplex ultrasound in my area. The closest is in Columbus, but I cant just schedule to have one done. I would have to go there, have the doctor examine, have him then determine if I need one, then drive back a second time. And for what? I already have 2 MRI's that show scarring. What will the ultrasound do other than confirm it? Its not like they will do the ultrasound, see the scar tissue, and then offer me a realistic way to cure it.

And on top I have been making advancements in my career, which wouldn't allow me to take days off to see a doctor in a different city who might let get an ultrasound that will probably not reveal anything I dont already now.

But if you can get a duplex ultrasound, it is the prefered means of detecting peyronie's, even though an MRI is pretty decent too.

I may be wrong, but I remember Titans also being implicated in 'busting' through peyronie plaques and straightening the penis. I think I remember this from a few of Kramer's surgical videos on youtube.

youngwithed,

Im right there with you man. Ive had scarring induced ED since 23 (now 26), and it is a horrible feeling to have to reject girls because of this bullshit. I have tried everything else in my power to fix this, and I havent been successful. In my situation, the implant is most likely necessary, and its what I plan to do given my situation.

Ok, I think you see more on an MRI, so it's better than an ultrasound anyway. I was just asking in case you had an ultrasound come out OK, and then did the MRI.

I never had ED issues prior to my injury. It's funny how life can take such a turn in an instant. One's gotta enjoy things while they last...
