As I wait on the V.A. I wonder about the question of theimplant position in the glans. There ismuch made of the implant tips position in the glans to prevent "floppyglans".

I wonder about how far the tunica albuginea extends into the glans and how this relates to the implant, particularly the LGX (which expandsin length and is said to be able to advance into the glans even if the implant is a little short of optimal) unlike the CS or the Coloplast Titan.
Does anyone have evidence or testimony on this?

If you wind up with a shorter implant than ideal, does your penis settle back (shrink in length) to fit to the implant? Especially if you embarked on a stretching protocol pre-implant. It is said that RP patients's penises shorten over time from non-use (not stretching). This suggests that a short implant will allow the penis to draw back to the implant length?
It seems to me that my thinking IS WRONG on this (second question) point, but I would like to know for sure.

AS shown in the diagram,
the tunica wraps the cavernosum. I do not think it wraps the spongiosum, see the diagram). The cavernosum does extend into the glans about halfway, and it is the surgeons skill to get the implant tips sized so they get well into the glans, see figure two and three showing relation of the glans and the cavernosum where the implant would sit:
I disagree, the LGX length MAXIMUM is chosen at surgery. With deflation, it shrinks down from that and produces a smaller smoother flexible flacid. In kramer's video on Titan versus AMS, this issue of length is clearly refuted with the doctor saying: "NOT AT ALL, the implant length is chosen by the surgeon at the time of surgery"

I believe that an undersized cylinder will result in a floppy glans. In the worst case, I suppose the penis might shrink down, but gosh, sounds like a suboptimal situation.

(63 yo, Titan 22cm implant Feb 2017 by Dr Eid) I'm super pleased with my length/girth/implant performance. See my story at "The road to becoming a bionic male: Answers ..."
