Also, I have been explained by AMS & Coloplast reps. and surgeons that during their first 1-3 months of life, they can show some signs of auto-inflation (which I have experienced just few times). Once they have been used regularly for cycling, it has stopped completely.

That would be a good description of what happened in my case. I struggled with deflation, and I thought I hade some degree of autoinflation.
However, a fee months down the road, this just stopped happening.
I don't even need to 'close' the valve by pressing the punp. I just leave it as it is after pressing the deflation button and it never leaks.

And that's answer the question of the thread - No. you cannot pump the implant up.

In regards to the potential nitinol implant,

As of mid 2015 the scientists interviewed speculated it will be 5-10 years before it MIGHT reach the market. I am not waiting that long, for the new best thing. Get the tried and tested one now, upgrade to the new one then.

IMO dont waste time waiting for some sciency state of the art thing that may get shut down by the FDA 10 years from now. You will probably be much older then wishing you hadnt.

Example, on the peyronie's forums, there are guys who have been waiting for the magical stem cell cure for a long time, like 15+ years. Im not saying stem cells cant work in the future for what they have... but maybe 15 years of an implant would have been better than 15+ years of waiting for some vague far away thing.
