Brother,
My first deflate, I was afraid to push, REALLY push the deflate. Push it hard you will feel in depress and saline going out. It feels incredible. Please let me know you found it or call the doctor.
Prayers,
Donnie

Same thing here. First time I was not aggressive enough. Got it up nice and hard and couldn't get it down. Had a dinner engagement. It gets much easier.

Nehedia,
This implant is a wonderful machine, but it's scary when we can't get it to work right. It will get better, my brother, much better!

When my first surgeon went on vacation his partner inflated me and, due to swelling and pain, could not deflate me. I spent the better part of two weeks painfully inflated. It was uncomfortable but I lived through it....

Even on my third Titan, it takes time for swelling to go down and to find and successfully manipulate the buttons..... You'll figure it out soon..... Good luck....

Question for you guys that have had the AMS 700 for a while... Does the release button and pump get softer and easier to press as time goes on? Before I lost mine, due to septic shock) I was trying to deflate the 25% my Dr put it at during the surgery. Not only did it hurt like hell, but it felt like that friggin little button was gunna come poking outta my bag. I also got brave and tried the pump and pressed until it hurt too much but it did not go up at all. I have the sample pump on the key chain, and even it is hard to press. I am hoping for a second attempt in October... fingers crossed. Any answers gents?

Had the same problem you're having now for the same amount of time back in January. At your stage time-wise, I think the easiest way to get accustomed to hitting the deflate button is to first practice in a nice hot bath. Your equipment will naturally loosen up in the hot water. Once you're comfortable, use your index finger to trace up behind your pump to the middle of the back of the deflation block. You'll feel the circular indentations. Keep your index finger there-it's on the exact opposite side of the deflate button. Now trace up the the front side of the pump with your thumb until you get to the deflation block. You'll feel the raised button on the deflation block on the exact opposite side of the deflation block where you have your index finger. Press both fingers together and you should hear a buzzing noise of the valve draining. If you have the rubber model pump they should've given you after the procedure, you can practice or at least get an idea of where you need to place your thumb and index finger. One problem I had to deal with in deflation was the deflation block tilting away or being slightly twisted...had to kind of dig into the tissue w/ my thumb when deflating. In any event, that's how the AMS rep taught me how to do it...actually had to come out to my office. If you need help, get w/ Dr. Kramer and he'll hook you up w/ your local AMS rep...

Good news, just left Kramers office and he deflated me (left tears in my eyes) But as always he was a gentleman and explained that perhaps I had cycled too soon. I am almost but not completely healed.

Lesson of the day is, dont rush your activation, you'll be better off going according to your doctors timetable. I got got some good loving in but set myself back (healing wise) about 2 weeks

Now back to New York
