Flat Erection - Implant Thicken/Make More Cylindrical

Hi Gang,

One thing I noticed since my injury was that my penis was flatter when I got it erect. Will the implants make the corpora fill up more and make it more cylindrical as before? Has anyone here gained a little thickness after implants were installed?

The implant will affect the cavernosa and not the spongiosum.

What kind of injury did you have and what are your symptoms?

I think I pulled too hard after ejaculating about 7 years ago. Initially I had hard flaccid, then just bad erections. With Cialis, I was able to have some sort of erectile function. Recently, I was just doing the penile stretch test checking the sides of it, and now I cannot get an erection from masturbation or stimulation. Also, it does not fill up all the way even at night for nocturnal erections. It sort of fills up partially, but it is thin like a pencil and goes down right away.

I have a similar concern. Due to peyronies.. my flaccid penis is tiny and very slim now. I've always been a grower, but my proportions are becoming ridiculous. I alternate between hard flaccid, and flat and floppy.
I'm apprehensive about even meeting with an implant surgeon due to my size. Stretched length is right at six inches but it is so narrow I'm concerned a cylinder wouldn't even be able to be placed inside. Anxiety over penis issues is amazing in it's magnitude.

Has anyone had a narrow cylinder installed? How was the girth after healing and cycling?

Interesting, I have very similar symptoms. Have you ever seen something on an ultrasound or MRI, or are these fine?

I have an ultrasound on the 31st. Honestly, I'm not sure if that will even show a problem. After they inject it, I'm sure the blood will appear normal. The problem is there is no chance that would happen without the injection.

If I were you guys, I would seriously consider the implant sooner rather than later. At the very least, see what happens after you get Cialis for daily use.

If it makes you feel better, my stretched length is only 4.5 inches. I would not worry so much about the size. Take a look at some of Dr. Kramer's videos of installing implants for Peyronie's patients and perhaps you will like what you see.

I was riding on one of those double-decker buses in New York City tonight all alone and feeling sad about all in life I'll have to miss out on due to being young and having a damaged dick. Having said that, if an implant was placed and I was just 4" by 4", I'd still be better off than having nothing at all that works. Seriously, meet with an implant surgeon or get an artificially induced erection and see where you are size-wise. Take a look at Dr. Kramer's videos doing implants for Peyronie's patients. Don't wait on this!

In my case I don't have ED issues really (well, it takes more stimulation)...but I've lost 1 inch in length and 1 inch of girth in about 5 months since my injury. On top of that a curvature of about 50 degrees to the left.

I don't care so much about the length (I was 7.5 inches before)...but the girth is important. I am now about 5 in girth when I was 6 before.

I do not want to trivialize the sadness that comes with the loss in size, but just to let you know you are huge: You're still bigger now than I ever was!

The doctor who will do the ultrasound is into regenerative ED, so he is using some newer methods, which I'm not sure do much: Platelet-rich plasma, electroshock therapy, and stem cells. I more just wanted to get to a doctor who would prescribe me Cialis for daily use, but he would not write it until after the ultrasound. If the Cialis does nothing for the first couple of weeks, I think it'll be implant time for me. It'll be small, but heck, I just want to be able to give my parents grandkids, so I can live with it!

I have heard platelet-rich plasma can help with Peyronie's from reading about it, but I did not see any studies completed.

I wish you the best of luck with your situation and just want to reiterate that a smaller, but functioning penis beats a nonfunctioning one every time!
