I have both implants sitting in front of me and the one thing that jumps out as you look at them to the 4 corners of the AMS pump. Does anyone have problems with the corners. The Coloplast pump is a lot smaller. It has been mentioned. The AMS pump definitely is easier to release. Coloplast is slower unless I squeeze the cylinders.

Before you comment I am not saying anything bad about either. It is just an observation.

If the pump heals high like on my second implant, it is painful. If it is heals down, no problem at all.

I note that the pump used for the AMS CX is not available for use with the AMS LGX.

Which sample do you have?

Lost Sheep wrote:Previewing the pump

I have noticed many men comment on how it feels to have an extra object added to the contents of their scrotum, now it affects choice of clothes, seating positions, bicycle riding, etc.

I may have too much time on my hands, but I wonder if a preview of what having a pump in my scrotum could be had by sticking a Lego block or two in my briefs.

Would/Could that give an accurate preview?

Thanks for indulging my curiosity.

No that would be totally inaccurate.
I basically do never feel the pump. The only time I can feel it is there is if I wear very tight clothes, e.g. a pair of tight jeans, and then I bend over deep to e.g. tie my shoelaces.
Otherwise, seriously never.
Riding a bike can be a bit uncomfortable if the seat is an inappropriate one. But it is not the pump causing it, it is the feeling of the fixed part of the implant in the crus. I guess this is also depending on how fat you are. A fat person with a well padded ass would probably not have that issue.
And in my case, it is really only when riding a bike with the wrong seat type I feel this. Never when sitting on a chair.

Plumber that was one of the question put to my doctor on Friday. He said he will place it where it needs to be but that they will move back up. He said it will be painful at first but as soon as I can I will need to start pulling the pump down in the as a daily exercise. Thoughts?

I don't think you'll come anywhere near to approximating the feeling of having a pump in your scrotum by putting a Lego in your briefs.

Because of my RTEs, my pump is low at the bottom of my scrotum. Easy to reach, pump, and deflate. It's actually a little lower than my balls.

Donnie I am sitting her looking at the AMS. If you have a 5.5 RTE it would move the pump up the scrotum. What am I not understanding

Because of the way an AMS is constructed, without the RTEs the tube from the back of the implant is shorter so RTEs are used to move it forward. Allowing it to hang lower.

This is true, the only difference now is that my flaccid penis is twice the size of my flaccid Penis pre-op. I do not feel the pump and I am only six weeks post op.
