It is a machine. Like our bodies, machines fail. Even a mountain of stone has a finite life before it turns to sand. $#!t happens. That does not mean to expect the worst, but on the other hand, fortify yourself with insurance in the event it does. I know there has to be one person who had a Yugo that made it to 200,000 miles rather than being scrapped at 30,000. The mindset to wait till the lifetime implant is finally developed will not get you a hard dick tomorrow or next week but if it does come gives you an option if you do have a failure. All things wear out or fail. It is the way things work in the world. I would not dwell on it. Dwell on what you are going to do with it for however long it lasts be it 6 months or 21 years.

How have you had three in one year? why? infection? You arnt afraid? How is possible an implant last so little time, it isnt good

I think that it has been a combination of several factors, which some of them are:

1 - defective implant/premature mechanical failure
2 - incorrect implantation techniques used during surgery, hence undesirable results that make it unusable
3 - incorrect implant used during surgery
4 - good potential of currently developing infection (I hope not, but signs are being closely monitored and profilaxis measures in place!)
5- not having the best post op support

This is a not all inclusive list, but the most significants.

It is like the possibility of being stuck by lightning more than once. Very improbable, but still possible.

At least your surgeries werent due to infections, it is good.
Why do u say potential of currently developing infection? Have you noticed any symptom?
Who was your surgeon?
My fear is this i am relatively young and if my implant last one year it would be terrible sincerely
