Now that I received the bad news on the revisions but I'll deal with that when it comes. Anyway let's get back to the original question. If anyone out there has had a redo please pass on any info you may have. We all know information is golden and for the guys looking at a revision that golden information is much appreciated.

regarding "losing length after revision" I think that only happens if there are infection issues (where you might get a malelable implant for awhile, and then the final which may be shorter) or if there is a pseudocapsule which did the coffin effect (there was a paper written by Dr Karpman).

BUT FOR ROUTINE REPLACEMENT, It is common to enjoy a size upgrade or, almost certainly at a minimim, a simple swap out of giving you back the same specification implant which was already in. So I do not think size decrease is an issue (except for the rare complications listed above).

That being said, I still would like to hear from some brothers who have had replacements. It will put my mind at ease to hear that the replacement "worked ok and was as good as the original !"

(please, I need this for piece of mind)

Thanks,

Tangerine, I can definitely say, "My replacement worked OK and was as good as the original." My original CX and my current LGX are different, but I was and am so very, very grateful to have an implant (put in by an experienced prosthetic urologist with a great reputation). So please, don't be afraid of ever getting a replacement. :)

I happen to notice your signature. I also had a fracture. May I ask you a couple of questions?

1. How long after your fracture did you have the implant installed?
2. Did the fracture cause a curve or a loss of size (girth/length)?
3. Was this curve and/or size regained when you got your implant installed?

Would really appreciate your time.

The fracture caused a bend about 1/4 inch behind the head. As far as the bend it went straight up. Not left or right but straight up. Prefect for the g-spot. The wife says it's not fractured it's customized. The implant was installed about a year and a half after the fracture. It took 9 months for the bend to show up. The implant fixed a little more than half the bend. It's still bent about 20 to 25 degrees. I was set up for a ams cx but ended up with an lgx. Since it was a fracture and not a ED problem my junk still works. The ams is girth controlled by fabric and didn't wipe my natural out I ended up with the best of both worlds. When it's pumped up without any of my natural I lost a little girth. When it's pumped up and my natural is working too I gained some serious girth. I must have gained a little length because no length lost even with the bend. If you need more information let me know and I'll try to help.

Why did you wait one year and a half after the fracture in order to go for the implant?

Good morning. It took 9 months for te bend to show up then I had to fight with the insurance company. First they denied it. The company I work for was sold. The new owners had different insurance. They denied it. Reapplied and was approved. That process took 9 months. Was installed 2-26-14. Would do it again in a heart beat. It's been great and never looked back.

Thank you for reply my message
I asked you because i understand with peyronie many times the bend or curve is going to worse, with the possible loss of size that can bring, I have a slight curve stabilized or it seems so, but I have fear it can get worse or new fibrosis or lump appears elsewhere, so I think I will go to the implant as soon as possible
