Techniques for a high or rising pump needed.

Postby Tenk11 » Sat Jun 10, 2017 4:59 pm

Hi everybody, it's day 9 after my surgery and my pump is rising up a bit. I knew that was a thing that may happen with infrapubic techniques. I have tried to google and search here but my google-fu is so weak. I have been pulling down, then pulling down and holding for a minute as instructed by my doctor. My doctor said that he would should me how to "milk it down" this upcoming week. I can probably imagine what that is but if anybody has clearer instructions or other techniques I could use that would be fantastic!

My pump is place in front on the right side if that matters. The point where it is "riding up" into the fatty/normal tissue part above the scrotum is really the only place that hurts, kind of like soreness from a bruise, which makes sense.

edit to my postscript: keep on topic please!

Have you been cleared to take warm baths? If so, take two a day. Pull down on the pump during the baths

Infra-pubic, if done properly, as mine was, is a viable option and many of your Frank Talk brothers implants were done Infra-pubic. Please refrain in referring to an Infra-pubic incision as an inferior method, if even in jest. . It may well be an opinion but it is not the general consensus. There are arguments pro and con for either method. I for one of many brothers was done Infra-pubic and everything is great. I healed faster than most and the idea of having my nuts cut terrified me. Since I have an AMS, RTEs were used to keep the pump low. My doctor did tell me to gently pull down on it. Warm baths will help a lot. Hang in there bionic brother,, you'll be fine.

As you stated, that is one of the most common issues with the infra public approach. Yes, the healing was faster, but in the long run it hunted me.

I advise you to get in touch with your surgeon sooner than later because if left unattended, it could heal so high that, at least in my case, required a revision. It was almost impossible to pump to have satisfactory sex, aside from the constant discomfort/pain.

All I wanted to do with that statement was preemptively block the thread becoming a debate about the two methods since people love doing it. I mean, I'm very, very happy with my infrapubic so far except for this little issue!

I'm glad you are doing well. Infra-pubic or scrotal. Titan or AMS. It's almost as bad as politics. Nobody wins and people get angry. Better left alone.
Welcome bionic brother.

I am not diminishing any surgical approach or brand. I am just sharing my experience so you have as much information as possible in order to take care of any issue before it becomes a permanent problem.

Hope you well,
