I went to see the doctor today. 4 weeks after the implant. She said the sensation would return. She released me to take a bath or swim, and told me to inflate the implant twice a day. I told her as she was inflating it to demonstrate that I would not have done that since squeezing the bulb hurt so much I would have stopped. She said it would get better, and the device would release from the top of the scrotum which was being held high by dissolving sutures, which could take several more weeks to dissolve. She stopped pumping and said "that's as far as I can get today". It was rigid but short and not really usable for sex. She said it would get bigger over the next few weeks. She told me to do it again when I got home. I did, it hurt, and then it got so hard to squeeze I had to stop. She never said how hard I was supposed to squeeze before I stopped. But it was the same size. I released the pressure, but I am now up late because it aches. My wife called it an "abomination", so I guess I will be inflating it only for my own use, but there is no sexual sensation inflated or deflated. I guess that comes back.
