Some doctors use a long acting injection that will last 3 days or so to allow time for you to go home. By then you may not need much for pain anyway. Pain really was not too bad with the latest implant. First implant I had issues with the pain meds and didn't take them. Staying reclined to help keep swelling down I think is one of the major aids in keeping pain down. I had 2 surgeries last month and no pain meds. I truly think psyching yourself into the mind set to ignore the pain helps. Dwelling on it makes it worse. Like you say, pain meds help you build a tolerance where you need meds. Just tell yourself f'k it. No meds.I've got other things to do. As long as you are not jerking in pain, I do not think you will do yourself any harm. Good luck.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.
