Manschaping - to shave or not to shave.

OK, this may be my final word on the hair remover I tried, Veet Legs and Body Gel Cream. I would caution that everyone's skin and hair is different and like working up a cartridge hand load for a firearm, start low and work up on your own. OK, what seems to work for me: a full 12 minutes on the portion of the pelvic bone bush I want to remove along with coarse hair towards the base of the shaft. Also 12 minutes on the coarse hair I want removed on the little bit of my ass cheeks I want gone. No more than 8 minutes on the balls. Avoid overflow onto your perineum, or too close to your ass hole for that matter. I watch the clock closely. I start with the 12 minute areas, applying quickly so as to not mess up the timing. After 4 minutes I quickly apply the 8 minute areas. Remember these instructions only apply to the stuff I tried.

As for the electric trimmers suggested above. I have like kind and find they are good for shortening hair and are great for trimming the area of bush I retain but I always get nicks on my balls using them.

It can be done. Just watch out for your pump.
Makes trimming balls a little different. I shave my shaft pumped up.

After being hairless for a number of weeks now, I'm letting it grow out. :D In the past, I just trimmed it up once in a while. I caught my scrotal skin once with an electric trimmer, ouch!

Don't touch that any more before your surgery. You can develop a bacteria in the skin. Hakky caught mine 2 weeks before surgery and put me on a antibiotic. Hakky takes all kinds of precautions.

Guy,
I started this thread a while back. I've tried Veet (burned my balls) never again. Shaving the sack (pump caused nicks). I've decided to go bushman again (like the look) and only shave my shaft. It's easier if you're pumped up.

Yea, I'm not sure about the balls either but the pump causes me to nick myself and the bleeding is awful . I've made my mind up about the bush though!
