You hear or fell a little click telling you the pump is back in inflate mode and continue pumping. This is rare, 2 -3 three times in 4.5 years. Deflate and then restart also works for that case.

My problem now is that everything acts like for some reason the pump can't get any more fluid to pump. Kinked tubing should be a more or less constant problem. My problem is just like pumping the last liquid out of a jar all works well until.

Just have to slow down and not put so much stress on the new one when it is in. :D If the next wears out in 4.5 years I will have had fun wearing it out. My urologist said the more you use it the quicker it wears, my wife just blushed.

Well I must say, you are taking it in good spirits. Tells me you must have loved those 4.5 years. Does it bother you any that you have to go through it all again. I guess after four years the procedure is a distant memory. Where in the heck would it leak? The tubing connections more than likely huh. I'm not real sure how goes in. Does it go in with the tubing already connected, or does the doctor connect it all after everything is installed. If that's the case, I can see how a connection could blow out. I hope I get at least 4.5 years out of mine.

Nudist,

No, I was referring to a specific failure of the Titan Touch, wherein the bulb steadfastly refuses to compress. First, you have to bring to bear whatever it takes to force it to compress, then follow what I said in the other thread. Then it will work fine, as long as you do the one compression after deflation.

In your case, it sounds to me like the fluid is gone, but I'm not a doctor.

Guys, sorry if I caused some panic - it appears my ams700 is just fine. Doc says it was a combination of operator error and a stuck release valve. He did a reboot and it started working perfectly again. I learned a few things. First, he had me inflate and told me I was doing it wrong. Apparently the way I was holding it was putting pressure on the release valve at the same time I was pumping. That's why I could pump and pump and it wouldn't get any harder. Also, he said after 20 to 30 pumps it should be hard as a rock (dick and bulb) and you shouldn't be able to pump any more. (I was at 100 plus and still pumping). Doc told me if that happens again to drain it and start over.

That is wonderful! I'll admit, I was a little worried. But I bet you are relieved zxy! I'll keep this in mind. I got a few weeks yet before I can try the pumping out! This past couple of days, its got a little more loose in there. The pump moves around easier. I guess swelling it still going down.

Ed, Yeah, to be honest I was a little freaked. I started questioning my doc about implant types etc & he said don't worry, you got the Cadillac - :D Good luck & happy healing.
& good luck to you radiodec, I really feel for you. I hope your revision goes well.

The implant was a factory assembled unit as far as reservoir, pump, tubes, and tubing. From what little I gleaned from AMS support it might be a leak at the reservoir; they emphasized that a connection problem was highly unlikely.

As to being up beat, why not? I have been there once before so I have an idea of the lay of the land. I also have experiences with the fruits of my discomfort, so I am anxious to get things back to "normal". My wife is now working to move up the CT scan data. For those reading and wondering what the significant other will think; it works that well.

Hurdle one has been moved, the CT scan is now July 5. Consult with doctor afterwards, then probably schedule a revision.

Looks like that is what is needed, so let's git er done.

Zxylpk,
I am very familiar with exactly this same thing with my AMS700 LGX. When I went to my URO he told me to drop my drawers and he tried it. What happened next was rather embarrassing. First pump I could feel the "pop" and my dick jumped into action. A few more pumps and I was hard as a railroad spike.
I had the same failure a couple of times since but now i don't panic like I did the first time.
Glad your outcome was successful as was mine. Go forth and enjoy.
