I have been injecting for 3 years )average 3 times a week) and had always had good erection 99.9% of the time (only missed may be 3 times in past 3 years).
All of a sudden this week, the last 3 injections (same dosage, same formula, not new supply), there was absolutely no response. I tried injected close to base, close to head and midway also at 1, 2 and 3 o'clock positions.
I used to be able to feel the pop going through the skin and the second pop through the tunica. But these last 3 times, each time the needle went in easily after the skin and no second pop through tunica was felt (perpendicular to skin towards centre). I have been using 30G 5/16" needle all the time. The last shot I tried 30G 1/2" to the hub and still no response and still no second tunica pop.
And the last 2 times, I increased the dosage by 12% (24 U total) from my usual 20 U also.
And the last shot was from a different bottle from a new prescription filled just 3 days ago.
I know this is a guess. But what do you think may be the cause? and what should I try now?

Given your success rate and experience, I find it perplexing for sure. I would normally look to loss of potency of med (age)...but you pretty much ruled that out with using NEW batch. The fact the FEEL of needle puncturing tunica was lacking, I would look at that. I see you tried 1/2" needle as well. I would suggest Becton Dickinson (BD) diabetic syringe 1/2" 30G. That's what I use. Might want to try an auto injector if that doesn't work?

Thanks for your input. I did purchase a new box (100) of BD 30G 1/2" in case the old syringes were defective and used that in my last shot and still nothing. I am going to try again today since I have tried twice yesterday to give it a rest.

One more thing...I've had only ONE failure (zero response) over a year now and on that occasion I reinjected (after 30 min) close to the first site and got success. It's apparent you're missing for some reason. I use this injector with great success. You won't get the *feedback* on the *feel*, but it's quick and efficient.
