Do you lose size each revision?

Postby 25yearsold » Thu Jun 29, 2017 3:10 pm

I am 25 years old and considering having an implant. Since i am going to need multiple revisions in my life because implants will fail eventually ii am wondering if i will lose size after every revision surgery?

I have not lost any size, and after 12 years I had my first implant replaced. Don't assume that "revision" (replace) = loss of size. Hang in there, brother.

So you did not lose any length or girth after both operations? Thank you very much David!

Wow, you got 12 years out of your implant! I have been reading post of guys going bad after 4 years, one guy after only 4 months. And your LGX is holding up good.

It's the opposite. You usually gain size.

all these posts have helped me too, implanted 4.5 years worked great but now won't inflate. Working to get things checked out to schedule a revision date.

Was implanted with Titan Oct. 2016 at age 69. Lost some size to begin with. After several months, I began to gain size and am now larger than before surgery.
At last checkup, doctor said he could do a revision after one year and enlarge even further. Must be he thought I was dissatisfied with the size! Has anyone ever done a revision just in order to gain size?

I've had two revisions and fortunately did not lose any size--although my petite wife wishes I had. These days, with the right skilled urologist there is no reason a patient should lose size under normal circumstances.

you will not lose size after a revision. generally they put in the same implant that you had in terms of length. Often they INCREASE your size with the revisions.
