what's it like having a dependable erection again?

Postby addige » Sun Jul 02, 2017 10:59 am

i have struggled with ed most of my life. when i was sexually active in my 20s things worked well, but there was always a warm up period when dating a new girl. It would usually take me a few weeks before i felt comfortable with a girl, and once that initial shyness / anxiety went away, my erections would be just fine.

Now i'm a few months away from 40 and I have complete ED. viagara will give me a rock hard boner for a few minutes and then go away. I do get natural erections sometimes but still they don't last a long time and they're not like they used to be.

i'm thinking of getting the implant, and i wonder what its like when it's all said and done. What's it like once the healing and everything is done, and you're able to use it? What's it like having a dependable erection? Is it awesome?
42 y/o. Occasional ED up to 30 y/o then always. viagara and cialis not good enough, injections work a little better. Considering implant, looking for the best Doc.

I can't answer your question because I was implantEd 7 days ago. But you need to get the ball rolling right now. You will regret the time you are using while you wait. It take a little time sometimes to make a case to the insurance companies to pay for it.

thanks tybeeman.

how do you make a case to your insurance? I figure if they say no than that's it. did you have to fight for it? did your doctor help talking with the insurance company to persuade them to cover the cost? any tips would be helpful because i may have to have the same convo.

Good luck with post op!

I had a prostatectomy. So I had a good case. To what the doctorstatus told me they have to make the case that it is being done for reconstruction. Call the insurance company and use the CT code 54405. See what they tell. You doctor may need to run test to see if there is a leak. I think and someone may know more than me but. If he puts in a code for ED it will get turned down.

Having a dependable erection is a game changer both physically & mentally......it's one of the best things that I've ever done for myself in my 67 years on this planet......I love it so much that if I had 2 dicks I'd have 2 implants.......

Funny, but I guess it says it all.

Four weeks from today I go boinic (just one dick), and I'm guessing about four more weeks until we get to use it. The next two weeks will be my last vacation with a dick I have to shoot up with meds ( oh, so romantic) for a mediocre result.

Can't wait, but pretty scary.

Bob, your doctor will probably tell you 6 weeks after your surgery. I for one was still swollen, bruised and sore after 4 weeks, but the pain was mostly from another surgery done at the same time in the same area.
