3 Weeks 'til implant - advice on stopping injections?

Postby radioradio » Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:43 pm

Getting my implant in three weeks. I'm on vacation for another week, and would love to have (or try) vacation sex with my wife. Injections have not worked well for me -- barely firm enough for penetration. I was going to inject a little while ago, and I just couldn't.
I think I already have some scarring, and it doesn't seem worth it to perhaps do more damage while getting lousy results.
The surgeon who did my RP recommended injecting regularly for the health of my penis. Dr. Kramer said not to bother except for the purpose of having sex.
Anyone else get to this point before their implant?
Any advice?

you are now in the "peri-operative period" and that means that your surgeon (in this case Kramer) will dictate anything that you do with your dick. This time period ends maybe around two months after surgery. So, ask your surgeon and do EXACTLY what he tells you to do (and I mean exactly). You can educate us all by letting us know what he said, but definitely let your surgeon dictate all your moves over these critical three months before and after surgery.

Tangerine,
Thanks. That's my plan. I guess I'm basically asking if anyone else thought it might make more sense to just throw in the towel until after their implant and recovery. Kind of a depressing thought, but then again, so is the inability to make love the way we should.

I was there. Same thing, the injections weren't working anymore, at least getting me hard enough for penetration. I asked my surgeon a couple of weeks before surgery, and he told me, NO! I had. Thrombosed vein and he said he didn't want to take any chances. Do as your doctors says.
