The two implants are AMS and Coloplast. I don't think of either one being better. We implanted men love our dicks. Check out the forums. Loads of information.

As ddbryan said, there are two. Two makers. Coloplast and AMS.

Coloplast makes two implants, the Titan and a (less often mentioned) narrow base version.

AMS makes at least three, The LGX, the CX and a narrow base version of the CX.

In additupion, AMS, at least, has two different versions of their pump. The pump used with the CX is not available with the LGX.

Both makers continually make changes/improvements to yptheir designs. I think Coloplast recently made a couple of changes to their pump(s).

All the foregoing, I have gathered from reading through the manufacturers' web sites and posts here, but mainly from reading the medical literature on the web. Peer-reviewed medical journals, not unvetted advertisements.

Good luck

Although it does not cover all models such as CX, LGX specifically this might help you some. See my thread The Imperfect Implant. It might answer some of your questions.

Which is better, Ford or Chevy? Actually, they're both good - you pays your money and you takes your choice. Same with Coloplast vs. AMS. Their products are both good, and their objective differences are minor.

The definitive answer on this is presented on a you tube video which was done by Univ of Maryland:

You must watch that video to gain a good idea regarding the subtle differences between the two devices. Bottom line, you will be happy with either one.
