Hi Garry , you have the choice of either get a referral to Dr. Grober or book an appointment with him by directly calling the secretary and get the referral with you . If you do not get a referral you would have to pay $100 Canadian .
He does the surgery himself at Women College hospital . and if you get the inflatable one is just $3500 including everything .
All the best ...
Diabetes type 2 , heart attack , complete ED , Corrected by Dr Brock ( London/Ontario) on June/2018 . Had an AMS CX 18 CM + 2 RTE .

Thank you so much for this information brother.

So I just booked my consultation with Dr Grober on August 30th. I was told that from that point onwards it will take me another 2 months to book the surgery. Well hopefully everything goes well.

Do let me know whats happening with you ?? Is you surgery scheduled?

I was originally with Dr. Grober . I met the Anesthesiologist just 1 week before my surgery but he did not approve it because of my heart condition , he said i should do the surgery in a hospital where i can stay overnight where in Women college they do not have overnight stay . So I have to begin all over again . I am trying now with Dr. Elterman and Dr. Brock .

Did you talk to Dr Grober about sizing. How did that go ?? Did he assure you about sizing you properly?? Being undersized by a less experienced doctor is my biggest fear. I have a good size and I am not willing to give away any of it.

I think you are better off seeing doctor brock , i haven't spoken to anyone who had the surgery with him but I have seen both good and bad reviews of him online. I think the best doctor we had was doctor anthony bella and he retired. I emailed him and I even asked him about Eid and Kramer and he said they are excellent surgeons.

I was originally scheduled to for the implant this august to get the inplant with doctor Eid in Newyork but decided to reschedule as I need more time to save money .Our canadian dollar is too low lol.

How much is the total cost with Dr. Eid? It must be very hard to manage that much money.

yes , it is pretty much going to cost me all the money i have, the cost of a revision from mechanical failure from what one of the members here was told is about 3500 which is not bad , all under the 10 year guarantee , but if i get an infection im pretty much screwed, he was told told it would cost another $ 86000 to treat the infection i think , no way i could afford that and the thought of that happening terrifies me .

Garry, you are very welcome. Now to answer your questions;
1. I would ask your for a referral... you will need one for him as he is a specialist.

2 I didn't wait all that long (maybe 45 days). But, like a contractor, if you can get in quick, that probably isn't good news.

3. I am not sure of the cost, but I had been told by a fairly reliable source (another urologist that doesn't do implants) that it is something like $12,000.

4. OHIP only I believe

5. I don't think I lost any size BUT, I was one of those very rare birds that got a very serious infection (almost died) and had to have my implant removed as a life saving procedure. I am scheduled to go back in November (minimum time for a revision, so everything is healed) BUT, I use to be a grower, after the implant, I was a shower. You really won't go wrong with Dr. Brock... he is the Canadian version of the US dynamic duo (but more affordable), is internationally recognized as an author, instructor and expert. He has been called as an expert witness against another doctor that was charged with sexual assult. I am happy to answer any more questions.

I saw you other question "does he do the surgery himself". The answer is sometimes. BUT remember these "students" are already doctors and urologists and are "students" of the surgical procedures, AND, he doesn't just send in the designated cutter (can you tell I have been watching a little baseball), he is standing right over the patient observing and directing. I feel totally comfortable with his "students"

Larry

Garry;
I had Dr. Brock. He is FANTASTIC.
Don't believe all the bullshit you read on the net. People say that he doesn't take time to talk to patients... Bull shit. He answered EVERY question I asked. I even sent his secretary (Susan) an question, expecting she would ask Dr. Brock when she saw him and reply to me... less than 24 hours later, Dr. Brock called me and answered all my questions. This has happened at least 6 times. He is a FANTASTIC doctor. Yes, he is busy, that's because he is good. He has national and international awards, he instructs internationally and had been published in medical journals at least 5 times.

His contact info is as follows;
St. Joseph's Hospital
Room B4-663
268 Grosvenor Street
London, Ontario, Canada N6A 4V2
Phone: 519.646.6042
Fax: 519.646.6037
Email: susan.shannon@sjhc.london.on.ca

Good Luck you won't be sorry :)

Hey Larry,

Thank you so much. I just emailed Dr Brock's assistant Susan. Also, help a brother out because I have more questions.

How long is the wait time for Dr brock??
How much is the cost ?
Does he only have patients via OHIP or I can schedule a surgery privately and pay it off myself with him??
Did you lose any size with him?

Thank you so much for your help bro,

Garry[/quote]

hi garry, yes i had spoken to doctor grober and he had advised me against the implant , i think it is because i still do sometimes get hard morning erections sometimes and the injections do work for me, as for whether he is a good surgeon with a good track record i don't know, he did tell me that some of his younger patients were not happy with implant and also told me that i would lose size. But i kept going back and kept explaining that i have almost zero sensitivity in my penis, i beleive it to be from nerve damage and also large spider like veins on my penis even when non erect. it is as if my penis has a mind of its own. But another thing is that i remember over hearing from the patient room next to me a man that had a problem with his implant came to see him too , i beleive he had some problem with his implant and then when they walked out doctor grober asked hos secretary to reffer him to doctor brock. As for me i have been taking pentoxifillyn and viagra , they have helped and improved my erection slightly but by far have not been a cure or a real effective treatment for my ed. I truly destroyed my own life everything was fine before th injury and my sex drive was incredible. Now im in the process of saving money and getting a doctor with a great track record, so i dont lose size and get some good years out of this miserable life that im living. I have turned down so many women and it kils me inside , i hope everything works out for us man .

You need to paste a smile on your face, contact Dr. Brock, he's awesome. Get the implant... it's reliable enough for you to have all those women and many more. There is very little chance of you losing length if you do what the doctor says, and besides, isn't a 6" rock hard dick that can run on until eternity better than a 7" limp noodle?

Larry :)

The only problem with Dr Brock is that the next appointment is in February. Is there a way to get it sooner?? I am feeling very depressed about my issues. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Grober sooner.
