Cant agree more with tybee. Stay off your feet for first week. Just relax. I did well with pain but noticed a difference being up for a while. Can do everything after 2nd week within reason. Ice for the swelling. I used frozen peas. Works great. This will all help in the long run. Dont rush it. You ll be normal before you know it. Then you can enjoy your new toy in a month or so. Dont over do it !

I am sure I am one of the few wimps on here, but it toke me 2 weeks to get where I could go out. I did use pain meds after the second day. It is just sore as hell. Trust me rest all you can even if you think you feel fine.

Day 6 is here and is uneventful. Took your advise and has stayed off my feet, but this is getting boring. Ice every two hours and it's helped a lot. Pain and swelling has subsided. Wish the stitches would fallout. Other than that still only taking Advil. That it for now.

Thanks for your help.

Dion, it only gets easier from here. Here I am at day 38, and I swear, it didn't seem that long ago I was saying I'm at day 6.

Start of day 7, finally got the best night sleep since I started this adventure. Need to get out today, 4 walls are closing. Broke up with girlfriend last night because of this, so I need to heal and find that special person.

Thanks brothers for all of the advice and encouragement.
