I now have a revision to look forward to because of a botched installation.

I fail to understand why a lawyer would not be consulted to recover any and all costs of correcting a mistake. your signature on a form acknowledging the risks does not give license to negligence, misrepresentation and/or mistakes.

This is exactly why insurance is so damn expensive. Law suits is not the answer to all of the worlds problems.

if a defective implant from coloplast is installed in me, you can bet that coloplast will fully pay for the revision for me. you can just say "oh well. I don't want to increase anyone's insurance costs so I'll pay for my revision and hope the next one isn't defective also".

That should be the honorable and responsible thing to do. However, it will be a steep high hill to climb. Egos ruin everything, including skilled surgeons response to clearly botched procedures.

Thanks , I agree more guys need to know there is hope out there after ED takes over one's life.... I hope to help those in need of answers. Mind if i ask what is the difference in a Advocate Champion and a Patient Advocate?

I agree 100%, the hospital and or surgeon should do the revision FREE, but to me that does not mean law suit. If a suit is necessary, then fine you really have no choice but to sue. Have a great day.

Think of it this way, if you have a new "engine" installed in your car and it fails who do you blame? The mechanic or the engine manufacturer? It's going to depend, in my situation the "engine" works fine but the "alignment" is totally wrong. I have been back to the "mechanic" twice and I see a long battle on my hands to get something fixed that should have been done right the first time.
