Trimix stopped working
Trimix stopped working
Had prostatectomy on May 1st. Started on Trimix injection about 8nweeks later. Injecting 3 times a week. Also using 20mg Cialis cut into fourths every other day. The first injection of 25U was too much and painful. Tried 10U and still too much. Next one was 8U, much better. Next seven at 6U was just right, erection lasted about 1.5 hours, had greatest sex ever. The last 2 times at 6U, it was nothing. Me and girlfriend are bummed. Should I just start increasing by 2U each day until it works? Is it okay to inject more when it doesn't work? Any other advice?
Re: Trimix stopped working
Sure, just slowly keep increasing it until right.

Re: Trimix stopped working
I just started Trimix too about 3 weeks ago. I am still trying to dial in my dosage. One thing I have learned from using it and from speaking to my doctor is that you have to make sure you leave the needle in for a few seconds each time so you make sure you get the same dosage every time. I find that about 7 units is best for me.
Are you using an Autoject or just by hand ?

What do you mean by "leave the needle in for a few seconds each time' so you make sure you get the same dosage"?
When injecting, push the plunger in slowly until dosage is complete.

I guess you must be injecting by hand. If so then yes you can see the dosage going in completely. It's a little different with an autoject because you can't see the syringe so you have to give it a couple seconds to make sure the plunger is all the way down and the dosage is complete.

Re: Trimix stopped working
Trimix was incredibly painful (and ineffective) for me. Headed for implant.
Hope it keeps working for you.
