I beg to differ on the bicycle pump comparison. I think what could be read into your statement could lead to catastrophe. My bicycle pump is quite capable of blowing out my bicycle tire. There is no safety valve to limit the maximum pressure. I have heard that there is a safety limiter in penile implants (but have not confirmed that from the manufacturers).

In other words,

"Keep pumping (your bicycle tire) till you can't pump any more" at your own risk.

I was trying to remember how I (hand) pumped up a bike tire some 60 years ago, so maybe I remember wrong. I was just under the impression that a guy cannot over-pump and make his implant explode or anything.

I found if you hold a frim grip on the pump the bulb doent goes soft. bulb stay hard in slowly pumps more saline into implant.stuffin more than.
