They told me on the phone it couldn't be since at the base of my penis shaft everything is inside my body. Out of caution they asked me to come in. I intend to ask to be deflated to see if it lets up or at least reduces in intensity. My wife just informed me I never handle pain well. And of course she had to add she had two babies at home and never took any pain meds. I understand having a baby is like shoving a grand piano through your nostril but there are some pains men overall don't tolerate well. Hopefully this is a minor concern and will be resolved at this appointment. Stay tuned...

Dave, sorry I had to giggle when I read "shoving a grand piano through your nostril" I sincerely hope you feel better soon. You are correct about men and pain... when it comes to our dick. it's just not suppose to hurt at all, ever, but women were born to reproduce!!

Dave, I found you comment so amusing that I had to tell my daughter. She quickly informed me that she had no pain during child birth because she had an epidural... wouldn't it have been great if we could have had an epidural the entire time we were recovering?

Oh guys, it ain't that bad, at least not for me. No pain meds once out of the hospital. More than a little sore to the touch and a bit swollen and discolored, but no real pain. No energy for a while either. Had a separate incision for the reservoir payoff of RP and even earlier undescended testicle repair. That incision was worse than the other.

You, know it's not too bad when I am anxious to have it done a second time. My first implant quit after 4.5 years. Not that tough here, just fortunate with the pain.

8 days out and I continue to have a nagging concern about the level of pressure I feel in my dick. I'm getting jealous of all the comments I've read from guys who had no painful sensations a few days out! It's most pronounced when I sit in my office chair. It feels like I'm sitting on a rigid horn of a bike seat. Also the rock hard bumps at the base of the shaft continue to be a source of concern. A few days ago the doctor's staff told me everything appears normal and to give it time. I'm beginning to worry I'm going to feel like this for around 4 more weeks until activation. I hate waffling back and forth like this. One day it's tolerable and the next it's a huge bother. Still excited about the end result though. Until then... fingers crossed!

Dave
Huge range of diverse outcomes between individuals that's for sure. From my reading of feedback from across FT you can expect to be uncomfortable to some degree for a month or two.
Your body will adjust to the cylinders now inside your dick.
You will learn how to use the pump.
Your cock will regain some size.
You will begin to feel very, very confident which leads to a constant smile on your face.
Your bed partner may well become addicted to your new equipment......which widens the already very wide smile on your dial.
How do the rest of us BB's know this?
Mate, it's a journey, you are now on it and you will forget all the pain and discomfort over the next few months once you start using your cock again :D :D

10 days out now. This morning in the shower I decided to try and deflate myself a little to see if the pressure I feel constantly could be eased like it was three days ago in the doctor's office. I easily located the button and held down a tight squeeze for several seconds but nothing happened. I'm against experimenting on my own before activation but I wanted a reprieve from the discomfort. Sitting here in my office chair it once again feels like my bottom is perched on the horn of a bike seat. I CAN live with this for another 3 weeks but really would prefer not to. Stopped the narcotic pills as they do nothing for this particular sensation. Just for laughs I tried to squeeze the bulb once but it's like a golf ball. Gonna leave it all alone for now. It's funny how I've had an "erection lasting 6 hours or more" now but no concerns about any harm being done. An endless hard on is gonna be a blast when the time cums!

Yep. A long-time-hard implant does nothing to damage the penis (like long-time-hard pills do). :D
