Would you recommend your surgeon?
Re: Would you recommend your surgeon?
Dr. Karpman for out west guys. One conversation w him & I knew there was no turning back - and no reason to. I went in pretty ill informed, I had not yet discovered ft and could not find a lot of info. online. Dr. K's credentials & personality gave me the confidence I needed to put my dick in his hands. Glad I did.

Due to his expertise, I couldn't be happier with my implant. I had absolutely no complications or loss of length. Any questions, or for 'show and tell' please PM me.

For Canadian patients, I recommend Dr. Gerald Brock. He had won National and International awards, been published in the medical journals many times and travels internationally, to teach procedures. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews on the internet. They are saying that he does not take time to answer patients questions. I have sent his secretary several questions, thinking she would ask him and send me the answer... Nope, Dr. Brock himself calls back. His secretary, Susan, says he is absolutely anal about getting patients in for their appointments at their appointment times. If someone has 10,000 stupid questions, email him and he will answer. You are not his only patient today. I have NEVER seen a review bashing his work.

Dr. John Tyler Roseman at VCU health systems hospital (formerly MCV). He fixed my stricture, He fixed my dick. Don't seem to have lost any length. Most importantly, he actually cares.

Re: Would you recommend your surgeon?
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan IPP (Inflatable Penile Prosthesis) in December 2007 by Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad at Hackensack University Medical Center
in Hackensack, NJ after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
My Titan Implant completely corrected my ED and has been working perfectly for the past 9+ years.
I would recommend Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad without hesitation!!

Re: Would you recommend your surgeon?
Yes: Dr. Justin Chee in Melbourne, Oz. Two or three consultations pre-op, consults at day 1, week 2, week 4-5, week 8 (so far) post-op. And his staff are excellent and good for a laugh, too.
Does both AMS and Coloplast. Didn't get heavily into discussion of the pros and cons of each with me, but I didn't care. I'm sure he would have if I'd been interested.
The fact that he also teaches the procedure was certainly an encouragement.

Re: Would you recommend your surgeon?
Yes, I would! I have, even to myself. My LGX 700 implant failed to leakage just recently. I am now rescheduled with the same surgeon and at the same hospital as 4 1/2 years ago.
Dr. David Morris did an excellent job. I lost no size to the procedure, I lost all the size if any that I lost in the 12 years between the radical prostatectomy and the implant. Had an easy recovery and my spouse and I enjoyed the outcome of the surgery.
Now August 18, I go back for a revision and hopefully many more that 4.5 years of good hard use.

Re: Would you recommend your surgeon?
I most certainly would. If you happen to live in the Charlotte area, I recommend Dr. Michael O'neill, McKay Urology, Charlotte NC. A genuinely nice guy, and excellent surgeon. But hurry though, because he is retiring at the end of the year.
