8weeks post operation

Postby infinite19 » Fri Nov 18, 2011 10:01 am

Well today makes it 8 weeks since I had my operation,I still have not healed up completely, testicles r still draining a clear fluied and the base of my penius still hurts, the pump has not falling into place either although u can still feel it moveing .
I was hopeing that by this time all would be good and that I could use this thing, but it looks like it will take me a few weeks longer .
Has anyone else took this long to heal up?r is this just me?

Maybe you need someone to kiss your bobo and make it well....

Can't comment on "kiss and make it all better" but have you considered a second opinion? 8 weeks seems like a long time -- and I'm sure it seems like an eternity for you

Not sure about the clear fluid part, but I did not use my implant until week 12ish post op. My post op doctor visit was at week 9. At this time I still had some soreness.

infinite,

Different people heal at different rates. Are you diabetic by chance? When I was first implanted, my balls were so big at week 2 I couldn't walk. The skin was stretched and it even popped stitches and I had to spend a whole week in the hospital simply from that "clear fluid" that's most likely seeping from your incision site. Stay on top of this thing to be sure there's no infection involved. Anything short of infection and I wouldn't worry too much. Your body doesn't know it's on a time clock or healing schedule. Hang in there buddy... I'm pulling for you...

Thanks guys for ur advise I really appreciate it,as for as the kissing goes I think I will pass on that.
diabetic really not sure about that might be boarder line I had one Dr say I was another one said no,I don't take any thing for it if I am and don't really have any problems that I know of.
I think I may have brused my testicles when I road about 600 miles 3 weeks ago I was starting to feel fine r I would never done it but when I got back I didn't feel so fine thats when the drainage really started .
The pump still hasn't completely got in place yet either so maybe in a few more weeks things will be better.
Anyway U guys advise was greatly appreciated this has been a long scarey trip wondering if I did the right thing
