My experience

Aug 2. implanted with a titan 22cm 1 rte

11am checked in
11:10 taken to pre op room
11:20 Dr saw me in room stepped in and talked about the different implants
and my preference of one over the other briefly before his next surgery
11:35 met radioradio and his wife
01:20 Dr came back to my room with part of his surgery team to explain what
Would be happening
O150 surgery team came back to take me for surgery

Woke up in post-op feeling queezy
Dr came in to see how I was feeling and told me things went well

They took me to my overnight room with me still feeling queezy
In my stomach and gave me some nausea medicine

Did not have any pain just felt funny
I finally threw up and what a relief
Later that night I felt a twitch of pain so I asked for a pain med
Did not sleep well too much movement going on in the hospital

8am Bandage taken off and the catheter removed
8:30 Took a walk around the hall area around reservoir tender
8:45. Dr came and to check on me I told him my penis had a lean to the right
He took his hand and straightened it telling me that the titan does
That but will straighten itself when hard. I could hear the crinkle
That felt pretty weird

9:30 I begin to notice an urgent need to urinate
10:00. Left the hospital with about a 30%-40% erection and a need to pee

After getting home the urgency to pee is still there pain around the
Reservoir especially when going from laying to standing is still there
but the one thing I was worried about the most the scrotum do not
Have pain or swelling

The swelling will likely come. or maybe you are one of the lucky ones that don't swell much. Ice will help.

I believe I worded that wrong I did have some pain and swelling but nothing
compared to what I was expecting in the scrotum and more than I was expecting in the reservoir.

That's good, but still ice and don't to much just because you feel you can, give it a few days.

I'm 21 days ahead of you and I was a lot like you with minimal swelling and pain.

1. Three days out found it hard to do the number 2 in the toilet with an erection.
2. Pain level still low stopped using pain meds
3. Scrotum does seem to be larger but no real pain there. They feel heavy
4. Dr. Kramer reached out to me today to see how I was feeling and let me
know that he posted the video of my surgery that I requested named Man
From Whitemarsh. I had my prostatectomy 2015 at Hopkins and have not heard
from the surgeon since.
5. Still icing and laying or reclining.
