Pain could be result of swelling going down and still have pressure from being partially inflated. Gotta say that when doc finally deflated me it was honestly a relieve. Partial erection pushing against clothing as you are starting to move around. As Ed & Tubee said it does get easier. Day by day you feel less pain & discomfort. Hang in there.

In most cases discomfort settles by week 8 or so. I suffered really irritating sensitivity of the Glans and had to wrap it each day with a light stretchy bandage. But it resolved completely at about week 14.

Keep in mind this was major surgery... it will take time for the body to heal and adjust to something new. Something that was not there before, so it's sort of a battle from within. With patients you will win the battle and move forward to happy sex life again.

Smetro, That is interesting about wrapping it each day. At 6 weeks I started wearing a condom last weekend with the top cut out to pee and it has given me a lot of relief but not completely.

Re: Day 7 Pounding Penis Pain?
All:
Thanks for the input. I did not wake up with the throbbing pain today, and as the day wore on yesterday it slowly got better. Each day has been an adventure, with different areas making their unhappiness known in different ways.
Being a pain pussy, I'm glad I never saw here on FT that it could take until week 16 or 18 for there to be no discomfort. I may have decided against the implant, which I already know would have been a huge mistake.
Plan to go in to the office for a bit today. I work for myself and have no client meetings scheduled until next week, so I don't really have to go in -- I can make calls, email, etc. from home. But it raises the questions: After my prostatectomy, driving was painful for many weeks; anyone find that driving was uncomfortable or painful one week post-op? Any advice? Should I just stay home, work, and be able to lay down when I need to? Maybe I've answered my own question.

Re: Day 7 Pounding Penis Pain?
Bob , everyone is different. I am almost 7 weeks and I am still very sore. The one thing that we all have in common is the human body take 100 days to heal. Some of us feel better before that 100 days but it is 100 days. There are some guys fucking at 15 days and some that are at 10 weeks. I am sure some people are less sensitive down there then other. That plays a factor

Re: Day 7 Pounding Penis Pain?
There are a lot of factors for healing. Each body and person is different. Where one person may have the ability to recover quickly othet are going to be slow. Some will live of the pain pills others will take a few on the rough days. Some will do the minium amount of rehab other will push themselves. The only person that inow how you heal is you. Granted we all basicly the same procedure but we are all differant. Think back to other procedures how did you heal, howd you approach rehab?
Re: Day 7 Pounding Penis Pain?
I'm at about 8 weeks, and I feel no pain at all. I've gotten quite used to the new bionic parts in me. And i like what it's done for me. You'll get there. Just be patient with yourself. Looking back, I worried about a lot of things that I didn't need to worry about. But having never gone through this before, I didn't know what was normal or not. Thank God for FT! Glad you're feeling better today.

Re: Day 7 Pounding Penis Pain?
Thanks Ed.
Am feeling better, but still had to lay back down after being up for breakfast.
You're at 8 weeks and feel no pain at all, Tybeeman is at 7 and still hurts.... Sort of proves the statement that there is no standard time frame. It's slow for me, but if I look back about 5 days or so, I can surely see the improvement.
Yeah, I literally can not imagine making this journey without FT and my new brothers. How would anyone do this alone?

Bob I am not in pain just sore as hell. these first couple weeks you need to take it as easy as possible. I when back to work after 8 days and had to drive 45 minutes to get there. I know where you are at brother, just hang in there. My only regret is that I did think to do this during football season. Thursday to Monday a lot of football to watch
