How Many Pumps to Full Erection?

I know each brand and model of implant is different when it come to number of pumps to achieve a full erection. I will be getting an AMS LGX in September. My question is as a guy with a smaller size implant, will it take fewer pumps than thos of you who are larger? I assume that's the case.

How many times do you have to pump to get to your full erection?

My 6" to 7" erect is ready in about 30 good full pumps. You can always adjust your pumps for your partners preference.

Hi my doc said it varies a lot ... maybe 10 or 20 pumps. I gain 1.5 cm length with just four pumps.

Remember recovery takes time - in my case two months before pain was reduced and I could start inflating. Many say it take 6 months to a year to get to learn how to use and be comfortable with the device. So be patient. See my earlier post today on my expereinces with the AMS 700.

Thank you Poole-Johnson. I am eager but won't rush anything. I have dealt with this a long time and can wait a while longer.

Your question is complicated by several factors. #1. How complete is each pump (does all the fluid in the pump get expelled?) #2. What size implant do you have. #3. What pump ( newer AMS or old one) In the end it is simply the volume of your max inflated cylinders divided by the volume per pump. In my case at 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 it takes me 20 good pumps to fill it to the maximum. If I really work at getting all the fluid out each pump I can reduce that to 15 or 16 pumps. In a hot shower or during hot sex I can usually get in another pump or two, But at high pressure I sometime feel the fluid bypass the system.

Guys like Ali and Donnie are going to take more pumps as they have more volume to fill.

I can get my almost 6" pretty hard with 13 pumps. I tried 18 and got complaints it was too hard. I'm 2 weeks and 3 days into pumping.

25 pumps to rock hard. With AMSCX you can keep pumping forever. I asked my doc about this and he said there's no saline left after 25 - 30 pumps.

When it failed the bulb started to stay flat after the last pump and the number of pumps went down with each use until it was unusable. Now I am scheduled for a revision (replacement) on August 18. ON the AMS 700 LGX units the pump goes flat when out of fluid.

Hearing this Radio, I don't think I will ever pump mine more than 30 times. Right now the bulb gets hard at 20-22 pumps.
