Re: ohio doc
I am in Michigan, but any good Urologist should be a good source of Trimix.
75 Year Old guy in Michigan, married in 1958, ED since late '90s, then surgery in 2008 (not prostate or other genital) damaged some nerves making the ED worse. Now on trimix

This (ed) has slowly been coming on.Tried the pills & don't like the side effects. They really don't work like they should for me.Never been to a Uro only family Doc.
70 years old,married 50 years.gave up on pills & recently started injections.
Re: ohio doc
Family doc might work. After I lost my uro (retired) I got my GP to prescribe them. I had to educate her. Now she left too. I'm back with a new uro but I've only seen him once. You really do need to see a uro though to make sure nothing else is going on. Try https://www.healthgrades.com/

oldroller.....
You should ask your primary care physician for a referral to a urologist.

Re: ohio doc
My family doc has recommended someone,I will be making an appointment the first of the week.I hope this works out better than the pills.I only hope it's affordable.I think I could learn to do the injections. Thanks

Re: ohio doc
It should be very affordable. If he tries to give you a script for a brand name ask him to write a generic script for alprostadil. Better yet, call the office and ask if he (she) does generic alprostadil or trimix. If you don't get a positive response ask your GP for a different referral. No point in wasting your time. Once you get your script you can find a pharmacy that sell it inexpensively. However, prices vary dramatically between pharmacies so shop around.
