Leaking urine!

Postby Freddyboy » Sat Aug 19, 2017 3:46 pm

In January 2016 I had a non nerve sparing prostatectomy. Had a bit of a problem with dribbling urine for the first few months afterwards but by persevering with daily Kegel excersises it stopped and has not been much of a problem since. Three months ago I had implant surgery and still have had little to no leakage at all - until getting back into having sex. During foreplay I seem to lose bladder control to the point where the sheets need changing and during intercourse I end up leaking lots in my wife's pussy! Needless to say this is annoying/ frustrating/ embarrassing  - kinda puts the fire out- so to speak :( . It's weird cuz I don't leak any other time!! I'm curious to know if anyone else has this problem. Thanks guys!

Talk to your urologist. We can share experiences, but you need a specific diagnosis and remedy.

#1) Yes talk to uro.

#2) I don't have an implant but I do have experience with the unpleasant experience of sexual urine leakage post prostatectomy.

#3) I'm going to suggest a lot of solo practice and patience. I know many might feel uncomfortable with that suggestion but that's what I have to offer. ("I'm sorry honey but I'm going to have to whack off a whole bunch until I can get this under control.") It took me at least a couple of years to get the sex/leakage issue pretty much resolved. I learned to restrain the pee while the sex was ongoing including climax. It seemed counter intuitive mussel wise but a learnable art, at least for me. I still take care to restrict my fluid intake prior to sex and to void immediately beforehand. Yeah it doesn't help with spontaneity.

One thing that helped me was after taking a leak, grabe the spot between your ass and the sack and pull up on it. It will drain anything left pass the muscles.

The guys above are right, this is a common problem that does get better with time ..... but I've not leaked that "copiously" since immediately after my RP. As I often have extended "sessions" with professionals, I get up several times during a session to "pee just a little". After three implants, I can tell you it does get better with time.

I would discuss it with my urologist..... Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have an appt with uro in a couple of weeks so will get a professional opinion then. Also have started doing the Kegel exercises again whenever I remember to do them. Yeah it certainly can break the mood when I start leaking all over the place  I did read something about using a cock ring after inflation to help constrict the urethra but not sure if thats a good idea idea. Anyone ever done that?

Talk to your doctor about a Artificial Urinary Sphincter (AUS) to control bladder leakage. It was designed and patented by the urologist who developed the implant, Dr. Scott in Houston. A AUS works with a valve similar to the one used with an IP. BTW both of his patents are held by AMS.

I mention the AUS in the below post in a discussion about my urologist. Also I talked about someone who had one.

An example of an AUS can be seen at my doctor's website listed below.

Agree with Catman. Does subside over time. I was exactly like you. Especially the foreplay part. Our partners do understand. Also when first started to orgasm post implant i shot pee all over the room. Got that pretty much controlled too. So give it time but like others said, mention it to your doc. Good luck !

I did, too, and I was absolutely mortified! I went into the bathroom and fell apart. When I came out, my understanding wife was there. She told me that after having raised 3 kids she was not grossed out that much about urine. It subsided and never happens during an orgasm. Hooray! :D

My first couple of intercourses I would pee a little inside her. But that soon stopped. No more peeing.
