There are now prosthetic arms and hands that are actually controlled by the brain. It probably won't be long until the pump is battery powered, wirelessly rechargeable and activated by thought.

My wife jokes that they need to make it remote controlled (I guess for when the wife wants some but the husband is too tired.)
