For those who have diminishing results over the years : Do your doctors have any explanation as to why this is happening?
I am starting to feel lucky that for over 10 years i've been using a simple single-"mix" (as in, EDEX) with practically the same results since i started...
How Many Inject with success?
Re: How Many Inject with success?
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

Hunchback, I've been using mono-mix also, for about 5 years. I haven't noticed diminished results but admittedly I wasn't using heavily. Your experience is encouraging.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.
Re: How Many Inject with success?
I've used quadmix and the "standard" 10/1/30 trimix for over a decade. At less than 20units (0.2ml) I would have an erection for 60-90 minutes. That has decreased over the last year quite significantly -- I'm not sure why, nor is my doctor -- but there's no known cause for my ED either
ED since 35 with no known cause -- injections successful for over a decade with 10/1/30 and less than 20units but that became ineffective. Implanted penoscratally by Dr. Kramer of Baltimore on 9/13/17 with AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 0.5cm RTE at 47 years old

Re: How Many Inject with success?
I have been successfully using bimix 30/1 for 10 years. I recently posted complaining about increased price. I found a new compounding pharmacy who is 1/3 the price of the old. Happy about that.
I noted that my bimix didn't seem to be working as well. However because I also changed blood pressure meds things have improved. We are getting older and taking more prescription medicine. Both can be a problem. I found that if I eat right, keep my weight down and cut out my beta blocker things get "harder"...

Nevertooold....do you mind sharing what you are currently paying per injection ? I got totally ripped off my first go around but I am now paying about $90 for 10 ml. That will work out to be about $9 per shot for me. I think I can still find it cheaper but still a hell of a lot cheaper than the pills were.
53 years old. Suffering from ED since I was 45. Side effects from Viagra now too much to take. Started Trimix injections July 2017. Very low dose. 6 units @ 8.8/.29/2.9.

Re: How Many Inject with success?
Been injecting Edex for 9 months now. Once a week. 58 y.o., very healthy. My injection success rate is about 50%, so far. UGH !
So I'm not sure if it's me not injecting into the cavernosa area correctly or it's the Edex batch or both ?
My urologist won't prescribe TRIMIX until it's USDA approved.
Anyone have any doctor referrals in the Los Angeles or Orange County area ?
Thanks.

Bobertlax, I'm guessing your technique is inconsistent. I could be wrong but it seems it should either work or not. Since it works half the time I think you must be missing the spot the other half.
I don't use trimix either but I do get generic alprostadil (Edex) from a compounding pharmacy. I pay about the same as what trimix costs. Why go to trimix if the straight alprostadil works? I do like the nearly endless shelf life of the Edex brand but my insurance doesn't cover it. Plus I like having more control over my dosage. Of course if your insurance pays for it you might not mind waste.
I'm sorry I can't help you with a uro.

3.5 yrs. Typically 3-4 times a week, more on vacation. Only two failures in all that time. Dosage has increased over that time.
