Flaccid/Deflated Position?

Hello all!

Newbie from the UK here. I will get around to posting my full journey in a bit as I know it's useful for those considering the implant and I'm also on the younger end of the scale (30) which might give some encouragent to people in that age bracket.

Anyway I'm day 23 post op now and happy with how the surgery went. I hade very little pain and only minor discomfort during the recovery period and now, just over three weeks later, you couldn't tell I had the op by looking down there. So I went for activation on Thursday and was in with the surgeon for about 20 mins. He was happy with what he saw and showed me how to use the pump. I say that but I had great difficulty in deflating; with his assistance I delafted . . . eventually!

Or so I thought? It did definitely deflate a but ever since it's been at the 3 o'clock position. I did ask at the time if it would get any smaller and he said 'not much so' but I think there was some miscommunication. The size doesn't bother me, just the position. I meant the latter, I think the surgeon thought I meant the former. But silly me went 'OK' and left with instructions to begin cycling.

But it's still at the 3 o'clock and deeply uncomfortable 48 hours later. I tried to wear it down using tight pants to work on Friday but that became so painful and uncomortable that I gave up about midday and tucked up again. To be honest I strongly suspect that I'm not fully deflated but then surely he wouldn't have let me walk out of there in that case? I know cycling takes time and experience and thus far I haven't had much success but right now I'm just frustrated because I'm more uncomfortable than I was before activation.

Any of you guys had similar experiences?

PS. Great forum! I only discovered it a few days ago but wish I'd found it much sooner as I've been struggling with ED all my life.

Have you tried squeezing your penis as you are deflating?

I'm with Larry... hold the release button as you squeeze your penis. You don't have to squeeze hard just firm pressure.

Yeah when I first did it with the surgeon he squeezed as he deflated it but it only seemed to go down a bit. I've been trying to do that myself but I don't know if I've been operating the deflate button properly or there's something else going on. I feel like there's still saline in there but maybe that's just the cylinders I'm feeling? I don't have the experience to tell the difference at this stage.

Would you believe I'm not entirely sure what implant I have. The surgeon did tell me early on in our consultations but it was never a large part of the conversation comparing types. I think it's a Titan but I'll have to confirm. This is why it's a shame I only just found this site now. As I mentioned I'm really happy with how everything's gone so far but I would have had a lot more useful questions at the initial stages.

I do plan on calling the clinic on Monday anyway but it's helpful to get advice from you guys.

My doctor left mine filled with some fluid through my healing process. The first time I got to pump it up one side hurt just for a second but then it was fine. Think it had a little wrinkle in it.
Did the doctor not give you some paperwork in a folder to carry home. Mine had instructions and the warranty info along with the measurements of the device

I have an ams 700. When you deflate you should hear and feel a little buzzing. You will actually know it when it happens. Lay on your back squeeze the block and press your dick flat against you. you don't really have to squeeze hard it's not as difficult as pumping. If you find the block the button I've been told is just for a reference point it's not a true button you need to push. By squeezing the block near the button It deflates. It should hang like a normal limp dick. It will just stay a bit longer because of the implant but it shouldn't stick out at 3:00 position. You just have a bigger package but no tent. Good luck it will get better. I'm just implanted about 7 weeks now.

Did the doctor not give you a card to present anywhere there is a body scanner? If so it should say it on there.

Recieved an email from my surgeon today and he confrmed that my implant is in indeed a Titan.

He also said that it will "take some time for you to cycle it and then get rid of all the scar tissue inside the penis. Once this happens it will sit in a better position as to where it stands now."

The first bit I was aware of but I find the second bit reference the position a little unsatisfacory or vague. What constitutes better? And how long am I going to gave to keep it tucked up because it won't sit right? Oh well I suppose it's still not been four weeks since the op so perhaps I just need to take his advice and be patient . . .
