One day post implant
Re: One day post implant
Good Luck with your healing process...Do exactly as your Doctor tell you, even though you may feel it's okay to go off track...Dont you will regret it it the next day or that night.... The fun now begins...the waiting and anticipation is like a child at Christmas

My wife said that this waiting period is like having a brand new Ferrari in the garage, but you can't drive it for 6 weeks. Man, that's hard (difficult) to wait!

She is so right... It's nice to hear your wife is on boards with you, some partners are having difficult times with their significant other getting the implants. Stay the on target...
Day 4 after Implant
Thank you for your advice.
Day 4
I was released from Hospital on Friday, one day after Implant. I was able to shower 48 hours after surgery.
Presently taking two antibiotics. so far good, no complications. They had me walking a little on Thursday evening (same as surgery)
The third day was the most painful , it felt like Hot balls of Fire. each day that passes my pain is less, and I using ice all the time, it helps with the pain. I am walking normal at home.

You still needs to stay horizontal as much as possible just because you feel you can does not mean you should. I know it rough I so want to do something but my dr wants me taking it easy so that what I am doing

I agree with what everyone else said. Stay off your feet and plenty of ice. I used frozen corn and peas. Works great. Elevate your feet as long as you can. Standing and walking will contribute to the swelling and subsequently the pain. Dont overdo it. The time will pass and your healing will be faster. Congrats and welcome to the brotherhood !
