First activation

Postby Dustyknox » Sun Sep 17, 2017 10:55 am

How long before your first activation? I am 9 days out, and I cannot feel the deflate valve. Dr Eid wanted me to activate as early as 3 days after surgery.

The reason why I ask is that I am supposed to go back to work on the 25th, and I can't imagine going to work with a partial erection.

Dr help my cycle at 2.5 weeks. Today almost 3 weeks I found the deflate button om my own. It takes some pressure to move it. If you ball and sac are still swollen it will be hard to find.

If you are still inflated when you go back to work, freeballing and baggy pants helps

Don't you still have stitches as of 3 days?

Are you absolutely sure Dr Eid said 3 DAYs and not 3 weeks?

What degree of inflation are you now? Percentage-wise?

Yes, Dr Eid suggests some of his patients to activate as early as 3 days. I still have the stitches. He says this is very important to allow the penis to fully deflate, so that scar tissue will form around a filled reservoir. This helps prevent auto inflation of the device later on. Apparently this is important with the larger cylinders as the reservoirs hold more saline.

I don't think I could give an accurate description of the percentage I am inflated (maybe 30%?). I went to his office today, and they actually deflated me a little. It was VERY painful as the release valve is in the back where I am swollen. Overall swelling has been minimal.

Nevertheless they said not to be too concerned with activating. They think the swelling will go down in a few days, and I should be good to activate on my own then.

I would double check with the Dr. I wouldn't even attempt activation until the swelling will goes away. I activated after 3 weeks. Absolutely no pain. But 3 days? NWIH.

I was thinking the same thing. My Dr. wouldn't do mine until the swelling and the stitches were gone.

I was told to attempt activation 3 days after surgery. This was told me by Dr Eid the day before the surgery. He told me again the day of the surgery. His office staff called me 3 days after surgery to remind me to attempt activation. It was even brought up today in his office. It was also in the post op care handout he gave me. If you are still doubting me, feel free to call his office.

I read in Dr Eid's materials early activation accomplishes two things:
1) scar tissue forms over a filled reservoir preventing auto inflation
2) helps maintain length in a longer penis

Please be kind and do not derail my post from its original question: how long before your first activation?

Dude,
No one is doubting your word. We have had enough assholes calling people liars. We just don't understand why any Dr. would put anyone through that kind of pain.

OUCH... only 3 freakin days.... OMG you would still be very swollen from surgery. Poor guy.
