I feel very fortunate I have not had major pain or swelling many of you have experienced. I took one pain pill the day I came home, but it was more in hopes of helping me sleep well than needing it for pain. I have what I would call minimal swelling and bruising. My two main issues currently are:
1. Irritating feeling in Glans
I saw Dr. Anglade on Thursday. He was very pleased with my progress and asked me to start pushing my penis downward to help so it will have a natural hang versus sticking out when flaccid. I worked it by hand and now switched to placing it head down in snug underwear. I can feel the tips of the cylinders in my Glans pressing against my underwear. I look at it as progress and a necessary step to get me to thewinner's circle.
2. Reservoir Position
Before I was discharged from the hospital Dr. Anglade showed me how to massage myself to work the reservoir upward. Afterward it moves back down. It seems to my that my continuous work to move it is making it more mobile, not getting it to stay in a higher place in my body. Any of you experience this?

1.
I still get that feeling it the tips touching the inside of it. It is getting better. Any where parts are touching you you can feel irration. The body is not use to something being there and is trying to make it leave. Normal
2. My dr had me position up. Now flacid I hang down some. With the Titan OTR it does have auto inflate to lock it out it one pump after deflation so am never 100% deflated. The tubes are not as soft as you may think. Deflated I can feel them around the base. They run all over the place in the lower pubic area around the base.
3. Only thing my dr did was shiw me how deep it was. He wanted me to pull pump foen everyday.

I had to ask the doc where my reservoir was located, because I couldn't feel it at all. Everyone's body is different though. If your doctor isn't concerned, then I wouldn't worry. Maybe try to lay as long as possible in a position that will hold it there? That way scar tissue will build up around it in the proper placement.

Re: Greg1956 Day 5 Post-Implant
DustyKnox,
I think I finally got it to do what my doc wanted. I did not realize it at first but the reservoir kept slipping to an area right where it got squeezed when I was try to sit. Up and get up. I was pretty comfortable other than doing those things. I finally connected the dots and pulled the reservoir up while I was getting up and had no more pain.
Last night I put on a different pair of compression shorts and they are a bit tighter. I massaged the reservoir upward over the elastic waistband. This morning the reservoir was still in place. During the day today it shifted down a bit with me moving around, but it has not gone down to where t was before. I thin if I wear those shorts a few nights I will probably get it to stay put.

Re: Greg1956 Day 5 Post-Implant
Another night of keeping the reservoir higher during sleep and it is not slipping down into the low position it was originally in. No more pain when I get up either. Glad I figured out it was related.

Greg,
So glad to hear your doing well. I don't understand about the reservoir. I don't even know I have one. I've never felt it. Is there a reason why yours is moving,?
Donnie

Donnie,
I did not think I would ever know about my reservoir, but it is right there where I can maneuver it. niw that it's where we want it, I don't feel it, see it, etc. if I were to get a deep tissue massage, the therapist would likely detect it, but aside from that, it's just in there doing its thing.
