Adhesion?

I'm wondering if anyone has had the experience of the pump adhering to the scrotum. My pump ball is quite accessible, towards the front of the scrotum. The rest of the pump (including the release valve) seems to be attached to a large, flat slab of tissue that is attached to the front of the scrotum and to the underside of the penis. This means I can't achieve full penetration because this lump blocks the way.

No, my pump is pretty loose in the sack. Can move it all over because of the slack in the tubing. I think the doctor left just a little too much tubing, but at least I can position the pump to where it is easy to access.

Where you not told to pull the pump down everyday. Mr dr built a pocket he said like an elevator shaft. He had me start pulling the pump down on day and pull down once everyday. At 5he 2 week followup he pulled it down even further

I too have a small section that is still attached to my sack. Its a small dimple that really doesnt affect anything except for the occasional pulling. Sometimes it annoying but it has gotten better. I take sit baths and try to pull it apart. Feels like pulling a bandaid. Thats the advice others have shared on FT. Would think at some point it would just free up. Like Hugh said the doc made a pocket for the pump but it stuck a little.

I'm not sure how important this is. I wasn't told to do this, and the pump dropped down to the bottom of my sack on it's own after 2 weeks.

Pulling down on the bulb is standard operating procedure. I was told that as well. I would see your urologist as soon as you can. The sooner he or she deals with it the better the outcome.

What does your doctor say about it? It seems you are 6 weeks out, so this may resolve itself with time. Some people do need to have their pumps repositioned though.

I can relate.. But mine was due to an infection. One not caused by my surgeon. My implant was perfect. I had to have a precautionary surgery about 6 weeks out. Possible cancer. It was not..
That surgeon did not put me on any antibiotics. An infection developed and went for my implant. Actually in my scrotum. It was really bad. My scrotum swelled up to the size of an orange. I was antibiotic and steroids for about a month. It is finally gone. However during that time my pump had been dislodged and had moved further back. Scar tissue formed and adhesion occured. My urologist had me to start cycling and it was his hope that with my pulling on my pump it would begin to free itself. Good news is that it is slowly getting better. Moving back to where it was placed.
If it had not..a surgical procedure would have been my next step.
