To the OP: Actually, you ARE now the sort of man who COULD cheat on his wife. You just chose not to.
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

I should add that in addition to the extreme satisfaction sex is giving my wife and I, there has been a massive shift in my overall demeanor. I enjoy everything in my life more now. The dejected, miserable ED years are history. I fully interact with people now whereas before an undercurrent of shame affected how I responded to people. I was flat out unhappy and unfulfilled for years and it showed heavily in my personality. Even the every Friday night jam session I attend to play guitar and sing has gotten an incredible boost from my new bedroom success. I'm playing the best I have in years. We've also set up at one craft fair since the implant. I am a master sign painter of over 40 years. I hand letter small interior decor type decorative signs for the craft fairs. Before, I could hardly talk to the women who came into the booth. Now I chat them up one side and down the other. Lastly, I'm absolutely convinced women can sense a confident man and they respond overly well to it. It's something I routinely experienced when I was younger with no ED issues. It helped a lot that when I was younger I was always told I resembled Paul McCartney. Back then my wife seemed to take note of the friendly women I encountered. She's not quite back to mentioning my interaction with them now but if I'm not careful... well, I might get myself in trouble. It's really great being back to a fully capable man and the some!

That's great Dave, I really hope I react like you after my implant. My wife tells me that I have been so angry lately. I don't see it but obviously she does. Glad your life has changed for the better.

You will feel better about everything around you. Like Dave said, there is a noticable confidence you project. It is almost an out if body experience. You can see yourself with your head up & chest out and you wonder, who is this guy. Its you. Its who you have always been but its been hiding inside. It really affects you in a very positive way. ED makes you feel like jumping in a hole and pulling the hole in on top of you. guarantee things will feel different. Dave is spot on !

Dave,
Yesterday I was at a family gathering and my daughter-in-law asked me,"What's up with you?" She said that the last few times she's been with us she noticed that my wife and I have something going on (in a good way). She said lately I seem to be a different person -- happy to be wherever I am, whatever I'm doing.

Since my prosthesis is "Top Secret", all I could say was "Thanks, I've noticed that too."
Amazing what an impact this has had on me and on our marriage. Truly amazing. 8-)

yes, there are positive effects of the implant that go beyond the bedroom....it is just amazing to have that inward confidence that you could have provide a sex session that might be "the best of that woman's life."

It is a secret that keeps you going, and it improves your outlook on, well, everything.

The implant took me from a sad hopeless male ,who did not really look forward to the future ,and has turned me back to my younger self where I enjoy planning romantic getaways. It is almost like living inside a cialis commercial. Interestingly, seeing those commercials for viagra/cialis during sports events used to depress me and embarass me since they reminded me of my ED and since they reminded me of a failed sphere in my life. NOW, I actually enjoy seeing those commercials since they remind me that "hey, I am as good, or even better than that guy in the commercial, and I will do sex as much, and better, than he will !"

I've been catching myself lately talking to women I never would have spoken to before. Yesterday we were at a neighbor's house for their daughter's 2nd birthday. Good size group of people, most of whom I didn't know. This being Texas, there's usually a lean, tall blue jean clad chick around wearing boots. The jeans looked spray painted on her. I noticed several of the guys casting secretive glances at her. I walked up and mentioned she was someone I didn't know. She lit right up at being approached. We joked about the fact that there was one little boy there and the other 7 kids were girls. I said "may his odds be like that all his life". She touched may arm and laughed. I went out on the patio and got a cold beer. Of course I was reveling in having spoken to the hottest woman there. Never would've entered my mind to do so before. The fact that she was half my age didn't enter my mind. I don't have to be one of those guys who only steals a glance anymore. This confidence is becoming overwhelming.

To those guys who offered experiences of an implant benefiting more than just a hard dick and the ability to have great sex I say...THANK YOU! I guess I never realized just how many other aspects of my life my ED was adversely affecting. Thanks again! Frank

Vagabond,
It's kind of like depression -- I never knew how dark a cloud I was in until (with medication) I could step outside of it. Same deal here. I never knew just how much I was allowing ED to shape my overall outlook and behavior until now.
